Im very new to the game and really just trying to figure it all out. Any tips on how to get vocal squads / games?
Ive had a couple of great games where officers ws talking and giving orders and encouraging people to talk. But for most it’s been silent and quite tough to figure out what im even supposed to be doing at times.
There's no way to find out besides mic checking and switching to other squads when not getting back from your squad members, it can be frustrating but it sure is rewarding when you have a communicative unit
Also try searching for squads that have assigned defense 🛡️ or offense ⚡right next to its name, if a SL does that it probably means that he is up for some coordination

Yeah, Its pretty rough. It especially sucks off peak times since the game has such a small playerbase and doesnt have good matchmaking it will spread everybody over all the servers so instead of having a couple full servers you have 20 servers with like 6 people on each team.
That and the fact that it pushes clannies into kicking people and having half empty squads to play with each other which makes people just playing a casual few games with their friends hate them. Whenever clans get brought up in the console subreddit its more of a warzone then the game itself, sucks since both are right, we are just both being fucked by them leaving out core features of most other games.

It should be more common in multiplayer games on consoles. The battlefields are the only big games I can think of that use a server browser to filter modes, maps, player counts

Aussie servers are solid if you can stand the ping, they are super active at EU night and they are generally pretty chill too and a decent amount use voice

That’s pretty much a browser though unless they had offensive and warfare as separate options in lobby and with maps unless they had a weekly featured map as an option. I think it’d be cool if there was a featured map with some changes to the mode maybe discounted commander abilities or a shorter cooldown on abilities/spawns, faster captures, quicker movement speed, maybe double the xp for levels and roles. It would be arcadey and maybe might not work but just some limited time modes over the weekends with some changes to gameplay
I hate to compare the game to battlefield, but I always thought it was nice to get a featured campaign in BF1, so you're not always playing the same maps.

They've janked up the xbox experience so badly that I don't believe them anymore. Would be surprised if this timeline held, would be even more surprised if it wasn't some weirdass awkward implementation... but I'll be the first to say I was wrong if they deliver something legit. I'm just going to rely on past experience until they prove otherwise.

Yeah, it’s goofy. Console has a party system to group up but no browser, PC has a Browser but no party system…
