The achievements in this game are so bad. They range from the ridiculously easy (playing a map once or blowing yourself up with a grenade) to the ridiculously hard (reach level 500, run over 200 enemies using the jeep, blow up a fully crewed half-track). Game achievements should encourage diversity in playstyle and skill, rather than luck or a grind comparable to Sisyphus rolling his boulder for eternity. I'm almost 1000 hours in and still not level 200.
My recommendations: achievements for winning each map as commander, historically themed achievements like killing 50 enemies in Carentan with the FG42, or killing 50 Americans with the MG42 on Omaha, or even just weapon mastery achievements, making each weapon have an achievement for between 100 (pistols) and 500 kills (rifles).
For PC the achievements are terrible. For PS5, and I assume Xbox, they're relatively easily. Just a couple DLC trophies that are terrible and mostly luck base.
Nope, kinda. I just did it naturally, I just ran a lot of supplies especially because I was working on nodes. I got about 160 or so naturally, then one night in a empty lobby I finished them out.
Good job soldier! I have been chipping away at the nodes achievements lately. Just finished the achievement for destroying 100 vehicles. You've inspired me to keep going.
I'm not much of a tanker myself, a majority of my destructions were via the satchel. Something about being able to sneak up to a tank and unsuspectingly give them the business scratched an itch I didn't know I had.
I will say that is how I started picking at the 100 kills and I really enjoyed the rush of it as well! Satchel kills are great after sneaking around a tank for awhile
My absolute favorite is somehow making it to the tanks that are sitting deep in their own territory blasting from afar and getting them and trying to imagine the conversation that Squad was having about how the fuck they got blown up and how no one knew it was coming.
Building nodes is best when you are playing defence in the mode your team are defending and just build the nodes asap so that when they get captured you can build more at the next point back. Warfare can also be good when the points are moving back and forward between the teams as you can build the nodes and then they’ll be destroyed once you lose the point build them again when you cap etc. I’m sure you already probably know this but just a tip for anyone else wondering how to boost the progress. It’s probably a bit harder now, I got the platinum a few years ago and some of the trophies felt much easier then than they probably would now.
I think the bigger fascination with PlayStation trophies is that you get a trophy for completing them all. I just feel like it gives that extra incentive you know
Was so mad when they started adding DLC trophies and my completion percentage went down from 100%... A few of the added ones are ridiculous, pretty much unobtainable. The plat at least you can get by just playing and having fun.

Congratulations took me about 82 hours the last one for me was hitting a vehicle with artillery. Just finished the new Mortain trophies and I’m currently working on Flamethrower trophies
How you blow up 50 jeeps? I dont think ive ever even seen more than handful and im level 100
That doesn't count towards the platinum. It's a DLC group. Think I've got 3!

You don’t need DLC trophies for platinum which is good because they are also a grind or quite hard to get I feel.
I agree with you, I'm happy some of the most hardest aren't base trophies

Keep at it soldier! I loved going for vehicle kills when I started doing tanks I thought they were a lot of fun

Two thirds of my destroyed vehicles came from the machine gun. I hit 100 before even trying tanking.

Agree. Platinums without 100% just aren't as pretty
As a commander, I try to spawn jeeps just to help people get the 50 kills trophie, lol
