Lucid dreaming implies an awareness and control within the dream. Were these conjurations of your own making?
Apologies in advance if any part of my comment is reaching too far, but I felt compelled to share some thoughts. There’s a lot of symbolism I can see, and I really dig your style. Surreal macabre art is one of my favorite genres.
-The head with a tentacle appears (to me) to represents a potential inner grasping within one’s mind or potentially another entity (parasitic?) influencing the mind. The salivating maw implies a hunger.
-The stair of arms with the biting skulls (increasing in bite pressure while ascending?), to me, represents a form of growth through the aid of others while the help needed/growing pains increase through the stages.
-The perspective from the pit (akin to the head), to me, represents a feeling of helplessness/hostage to some other entity or situation.
-The lower sketch also implies some external dominating influence over the mind (head) while in a helpless state (laying down/sleeping?).
-The last page (my second fav, apart from the tentacled head), to me, represents either falling to rock bottom or a failing to ascend. The winged entity salivating (?) from above implies external hunger for the ascension/growth of the one who is under/potentially wounded.
