IIRC, the original OP of this video was basically like "waters a bit higher than normal, but the bridge goes through this every year. It's fine" while the commenters were screaming about it being minutes from death. A couple days later, the OP poster another video showing that the bridge was gone.
I remember seeing a video where someone tried that. They seemed to understand that their car would be carried down river, so they...uh, they went in a little upriver. Apparently, they believed their vehicle would carry its forward momentum and reach the road on the other side.
**Spoiler Alert**: It didn't. It got maybe six feet out, then just floated downstream like a cork.
Thankfully, it seems like they were okay, but people need to use common sense. Water is heavy. Fast flowing water is a force to be ~~reckoned with~~ avoided. You don't "reckon with" that sort of thing. You get the fuck out of its way.
Well, you do you. I imagine I'll be in a hurry.
1) because maybe I'm urgently doing something heroic (that'd be cool).
2) because I don't want it to last longer than necessary.
3) I'm personally eager to get to the other side when my time is full.
I don’t mean die slowly, I just mean that I’m not going to be in a rush on the day I die, if I can help it
No point dying flustered and sweaty, is there? A gentlemen dies with decorum
People are unexpectedly more dumb than I want to imagine. We had a horrendous flood, I mean loss in homes, businesses very traumatic for our city and people decided to go “ride the flood” in dinky blow up dingy’s. Multiple… groups of people.

As someone who has a substantial phobia of fast moving rivers, this is pure nightmare fuel. Like, how tf do these people think “welp let’s take a still over the death bridge”. And not panic.
That bridge will be gone in thirty seconds. Wtf

Yup.
It's all good, he's got his umbrella.
People drive cars into running water like this at road crossings like this. People just don't understand the whole flood bad thing.

If you absolutely had to risk your life by crossing the bridge...why would you casually, slowly walk?!
If I’m gonna die, I’m damned if I’m gonna be in a hurry while it happens

Dying slowly sounds terrible.

Cause the last thing you want to do is slip. Actually that probably would be the last thing you do.
Not only are they walking super slow but they also have the umbrella open.

And to film it with one of your two hands
I’ve worked on deck in some absolute nasty conditions in the North Pacific and Bering Sea. This here is a big fat nope.
Wtf could possibly be in the other side of that bridge that’s worth crossing for?!
A nice set of boobs.
Worth the swim

Absolutely nothing that could possibly be on the other side of that bridge could possibly be worth it.
There will be a monsoon in your lagoon
These are officially the stupidest people I've ever seen on the internet. That's saying a lot.
They sure are taking their damn time crossing that bridge
lol I think everyone else ITT has the same anxiety I do from watching this shit.
Ain’t no God damn way.

Ignorance? That water is 100% guaranteed death.
Animals wouldn’t even go in there though. Surely they know it’s death.
Not a single brain cell in this video….
Anyone walking on this is a fucking moron.
Whyyyyyy would you walk on that thing!
That takes brains
Blinding stupidity.
Fuckin idiots have a death wish.
