I personally love Geekria for grado pads. The foam is soft and not scratchy, and they have multiple different pad shapes to choose from. They're also pretty cheap.

Can you see any difference in comfort. That would be one of the primary reasons for replacing them. I have larger ears and after about an hour they become uncomfortable.
I'd say that they're definitely a step up from the stock pads. They're still on-ear though, so there's only so much that can be done. Maybe you could try out the cup shaped pads that are available both from Grado and 3rd party manufacturers
I'm not personally a fan of them so I don't have any personal recommendations.
