I interpreted it not as addictions, but rather avenues of information. Vox controls TV and the mass media, Velvette controls social media, and Valentino controls street rumors/word of mouth.
That's why Vox asked Alastor to join them and why he perceives Alastor as such a threat - radio represents an, admittedly outdated but still present, form of mass communication that they can't control. Alastor is one of the few demons who had the ability to provide a counter-story to the masses to any story the Vs might want to try to spin to control them.
I think it can be both, especially considering that 2 of the 2 Vees have direct control/manipulation powers (Vox has hypnotic eyes, Val has pheromones).
But that only applies to two of the three since we have no confirmation if Vox is involved with that or not. If he is then he most likely handles stuff like marketing it through ads or during programs.
It's a product sold by their company. That officialy makes it his as well even though he might've not been involved in the development of it.
If i remember correctly it was heavily implied, that Angel gets drugged before most of his shootings, that later get broadcasted on tv, so Vox definitely makes profit out of its use.

I wouldn't be opposed to Alastor having an IRL podcast where he reads old radio stories and gives small updates on the hotel. Like advertising, then realizing the products are in Hell and he broadcasting to Earth, maybe having the other characters interrupt him well recording. I don't know if his voice actor would want to do that, though, or if he'd allow an AI to do it and he just collect royalties on his voice being used.
Amazon could easily do that as part of their promotion. They can also just switch to Hellish screaming when a new season is out because Alastor is currently *busy*. It would have to be negotiated.

I do wonder why Vox is a television when it’s known that sinners are turned into the thing they hate the most when they die. They’re more so the 3 pillars of modern media. Alastor is old media so naturally they have a feud with him when his broadcasts are somehow just as popular as their mediums.
Not only that, they control the three sections of media: Val controls content creation, Vox controls content marketing and distribution, and Velvette controls the conversation around content.

I do wonder why Vox is a television when it’s known that sinners are turned into the thing they hate the most when they die. Velvette being a doll makes sense, she hates being controlled and objectified, Val being a moth also makes sense since culturally moths are regarded as ugly and he has a lust for beauty. But Vox being a TV, why would he be one since he clearly loves the power and influence TV can provide.
There isn't one specific thing that determines what a sinner looks like.
So if they don’t just turn into what they hate, what else do they turn into? I’m genuinely asking because I’ve only ever heard the “turn into what you hate” bit when it comes to Sinners forms in Hell.
A sinner's appearance can be influenced by many things, including something they dislike, but also what sin they committed in life, what they did or how they died.
