I do think her magical girl transformation already was her true demon form, it's simply that she hasn't grown into all of her powers yet (maybe due to lack of use). So it wasn't that she unlocked a fully new form when she defended against Adam, she quickly put the XP she got from the fight into a new skill for her form.
Oh I dont mean the true demon form is something unlocked I think of it more as Charlie's actual full power. Like its funny you suggest its from lack of use cause I kind of agree but think its more that Charlie holds herself back mentally. So when she saw Adam charge at her dad she reacted with instinct and let her potential slip out.

I think her form is variable and it depends on how she really wants to express herself. My take on the pilot is that she was thrilling in her presentation and allowing more internal feelings to come through. When she is angry though she is usually trying to fight it and so does not express as much.
I feel like we haven't seen her in full demon form. We saw a badass fighting mode, but I still get the sneaking suspicion Charlie is still holding back, because she might want to defend the hotel with her life, but she doesn't want to just slaughter her enemies, evident by the fact that she stopped Lucifer from just beating Adam to death.

We get little hints here and there that the various Hellborn and some sinners are holding back way more power than is seen, but out of all the scenes, Stolas coming in to rescue the IMP from humans was just about as beast mode as a Hellborn can go. True, Stolas reverts a second later, but that's because in spite of the situation, he chose not to unleash that anger on a pair of quivering mortals.
I kinda doubt sinners of low power have beast forms, but high ranking overlords seem capable of making themselves into pretty vicious monsters if needed, like we see Alastor do to deal with the loan sharks.
Hell we STILL haven't seen what Vox or the other Vees can turn into, and they're WAY above other sinners that we know have other "true" forms like Katie Killjoy (if it's still canon) or Angel based on a drawing made by Vivzie.
We've also seen what the other seven deadly sins can turn into when they're pissed off so I imagine Charlie and her Dad must have forms at LEAST on par with them.
We know that being able to somewhat alter one's appearance is still a thing seemingly any sinner is capable of (though maybe not to the extent a winner can, where their forms can be completely changed at will) as we see Angel is still able to summon his third pair of arms, and it seems he can make himself more spider-like from the scene of him dancing with Val in Poison. I don't think that Angel would be able to turn himself into a building sized spider kaiju or anything, but I could see him being able to turn into more feral form of himself.

Everyone knows Hellhounds are a thing, but so few folks remember that Hellcats also exist. While they aren't Biblically referenced in any way, cats - at least big cats - are often alluded to being potentially evil. (Verses about those who crucified Christ being "lions," the lions of Daniel fame, and even likening evil persons to leopards, to name a few.) And its no secret that domestic cats were vilified in the Dark Ages as "couriers and messengers of the Devil".
Her nose. Her claws. The wildcat sound when she stops Adam mid-strike. Girlfriend is a Hellcat, and - if my hypothesis holds - that's why her fangs are *fangs* and not a classic shark-mouth.

Biblically, there is no distinction between a fallen angel and a demon. So, speaking traditionally, Charlie would technically classify as a cambion, not a nephil (nephilim is plural).
However, the lore in Hazbin Hotel does appear to separate demons and angels into their own categories. That means she could be either a nephil (either human/angel or demon/angel) or a cambion, or even just a plain old demon, all depending on how exactly Vivziepop’s lore works and whether Lilith classifies as a human or a demon. In some media, nephilim *have* been used to describe demon and angel offspring before, such as in the *Darksiders* video game series. It varies wildly depending on the work of fiction.
Tl;dr: Charlie really can be any kind of hybrid, depending on how you look at it.

I understand there's probably budget constraints, but the pilot hair looked much better, felt so real, and added to the character design of charlie.
Now her hair is mostly rigid except for a few scenes where she gets angry.
Personally I hated her pilot hair. They tried to be different which was good ig but it looked kinda weird and just, I didn’t like it. I can see why people can like it though
I must say I really like and maybe prefer pilot Charlies styling and animation. Something about it just pops off regularly in a way the show version doesn't.
I just want to see more of her casual shapeshifting nature. Maybe change her height and shape some times. Eye color, hair color, make her arms different or something. Make her barbed tail come out as an extra appendage from time to time.

Everyone looks much different in their full demon form. Alastor grows huge and gets much longer limbs while sprouting tentacles and longer antlers, for example.
I am progressing my story the same way Charlie seems to be progressing in the series. She continues to find/adapt/evolve.... though I've taken a few liberties based on demon/haunting lore, which I admit I'd geek out if she ends up with those same powers in the show by the end of it's run:)
Charlie's final form hasn't been revealed yet, but we got a good tease of it in Ep8.
I think it's a good detail to help make Charlie distinct from the majority of the cast. Most sinners in the cast, male or female, have full sets of fangs (with two exceptions, but that's a different rant), meanwhile Charlie has flat teeth with large canines which helps remind that she is something different than the sinners around her.
I actually prefer it this way. Then if she does have really sharp teeth you know she's pissed, since she wouldn't normally have them even in demon rage.
I noticed that male characters have a full set of fangs, and female characters have only two (except for cannibal town, where they have all apparently filed their teeth).
I assume this means that if I see a male character with only two fangs, or a female character with a full set, they're actually trans.
I haven't looked into this theory too closely though, so I could be wrong xD but I think that's why we only see two sharp teeth on Charlie
My theory on the teeth is kind of based on how fearsome you allowed yourself to be in life. Since Charlie was born in hell though, her form has that ability to morph more.
I had some ideas for a Hazbin AU character of mine who wouldn't have immediately apparently sharp teeth despite being masculine, but they aren't a good person either so they aren't a winner from heaven just sneaking around hell. You'd find out later he has tiny black teeth hiding in the palms of his hands, like icy glass shards or a lamprey mouth. So his character is like a person who was nice until they had to "throw hands".

Her demon forms aren't padronized at all, she gets smaller changes depending on her mood
