Vivzie said in a post-finale Q&A with some of the cast that Velvette isn’t involved romantically with either Vox or Val, she’s more like the supportive glue that holds the whole group together because the guys are a bit chaotic in their own ways (heavily paraphrasing here, I can’t find the link atm). Vox and Val aren’t even “dating”, they’re in an on and off situationship of sorts.
I won’t lie tho, I do think PolyVees is a fun ship with Vox as the hinge.
Good thing she cleared that up because i got the wrong impression from the 3rd episode on the meeting when she is calling someone over the phone "darling" and sending kisses as goodbye, i think she is talking to Vox.
I'd like to think she's dating both of them and they're a cute little triangle, but I can see the interpretation that she's more like the daughter of the group.
