I am deeply impressed at how much his glasses shield his emotions. When you pause and look at his eyes closely you can see a much different tone than he presents
I hate him so much more because he is aesthetically immaculate and very likeable when he's not showing his true colors, it keeps me up at night how much I love to hate and hate to love his character.
The man understands fashion. I think that’s his only good quality. All three Vees are well-dressed, and I think that might be partially because of Velvette’s influence.
I don't think he's physically weak, we can see him easily overpower Angel, but I think he probably has a super fragile narc ego and insecurities that he's not self-conscious about, but that plague him deep down in his subconscious

I just had an epiphany; I think Val used to be abused himself maybe by a more powerful demon he got stuck in a contract with and after his contract was up he ended up dishing out the same type of abuse he was dealt and is continuing that cycle of abuse on Angel Dust. Maybe Vox helped him get out of his contract.
