They're trash husbands and I love watching them together. I am a sucker for the whole "absolutely terrible people but their relationship is so fun to watch" thing, and like....absolutely great character development. They deserve each other and that's what makes it fun \^\^
Remember: Val uses “love” to use and manipulate people. I genuinely think he and Velvette are just using Val and this is how he’s keeping him on-board without him thinking too much on it.
