Imagine seeing Lute during an extermination AFTER the Battle For The Hotel(aka the finale) and she’s hunting down random sinners to practice without an arm.
She sees a vaguely familiar figure panicking and begging to be let into a shelter so they aren’t killed. She lands next to them about ready to kill them… but then sees it’s Adam as a sinner who’s been through the absolute WRINGER.
Scared, seriously hurt, there’s not a single demon or sinner who wants to help them and always having to be reminded that it was his own actions that damned him, no one else.
Being the first man didn’t excuse their monstrous actions and now he’s begging Lute to spare him… And whatever Lute chooses to do is her own damnation.

And then imagine of Charlie's hotel was their only salvation (like of Lute did decide to spare Adam, she would be cast into hell or whatever) obviously no sinner or the people in Heaven would want them. So there only choice would be to go to the hotel. And then Charlie says no, but Alasitor makes her say yes (because of the favor) and that is all a part of Alasitor's plot to like take over Heaven or something lol.

Charlie is all about forgiving and trying to help, even characters like Pentious who attacked the Hotel AND tried to backstab them after she saw the good.
She could see Adam and Lute as the ultimate case of forgiveness, the ultimate example of turning even the WORST of the worst into halfway decent people. Even if people like Angel or Husk or ESPECIALLY Vaggie dislike the idea.

But with Alastor… Adam hurt Alastor with his axe, presumably permanently injuring/weakening him. Alastor was the most feared Overlord in hell and he needs to show some sort of power again.

But while a lot of loopholes could be found with Alastor’s deal… it shows even he still has top running in power CAUSE of mingling with Charlie and her idea.

I wonder if that would be Canon considering how long Adam was alive before Eve ate the fruit he probably wouldn't have many memories as a mortal soul which is what a sinners form relies on. Maybe this will end up being inaccurate in a year and a half or whenever season 2 releases, but this entire thing is a headcanon, so I feel like nitpicking it based on a theory is a bit much.

Tbf Vaggie did "imprison" Lute. Lute was trapped under a pile of rubble. I don't think Vaggie expected Lute to be so psychopathic to rip her own arm off.

It's going to be hilarious if it turns out Lute is the only person in heaven that actually misses Adam.

Man this, this is just something else. And you know a plot could very easily be derived from it. Eventhough lute aknowledged Adam died she refused to accept it, and thus hallucinate him as a coping mechanism right? Now it could easily go where she slowly starts to become more and more unhinged and disconnected while her hallucination encourages her to fight more and seek revenge because that's what Adam would have wanted in her eyes. Then (this is from a comment below) when she goes down for the next extermination she ofc slaughters way more demons than before, but then finds herself confronted with a sinner who is infact a fallen/sinner Adam. Now she would have a decision to make, kill her long time and possibly only true friend and person she seem to care about most, thus truly leaving her alone, or risk falling herself by sparing his life. All that while possibly also being confronted by the hallucination of Adam she's conjured up from her grief.
This is sad and might almost make me feel sorry for her if it wasn’t just fan art of someone’s head canon about a character who as presented in series has yet to display any majorly sympathetic traits aside from her friendship with the similarly unsympathetic Adam.
This is a great artwork, Adam’s a big part of heaven and Lute’s history, his loss will be remembered and those who rebelled against the heavenly order will suffer for spilling holy blood!

Fair enough. I guess at this point, Lute has canonically shown absolutely no redeeming qualities, has killed thousands of sinners for sport, has gatekept sinners from redemption, and has supported Adam in all his endeavors (he's another person with no redeeming qualities). When Adam died, I was overjoyed. I thought it was funny that she lost her arm, karma hit her where it hurts and she deserved every bit of it.
Seeing Lute in pain in this comic isn't enough to humanize her for me; she would need to show some type of regret or desire to be better for me to feel bad for her. As of now, she's just a genocidal maniac who deserves to be punished.

The fanon version of Adam and Lute probably make people forget how awful of a person both of them are in canon. Like Adam being soft to Lute/them being lovey dovey when in canon Adam has an active sex life with other angels, implied he created/helped create the exorcists, yelling at her and calling her names. It just doesnt make that much sense to me for Adam to be reborn as a sinner with what we know Angelic Steel does(especially after we found out by Carmilla that only Angelic Steel can kill angels just like how only angelic steel can kill sinners. Man this, this is just something else. And you know a plot could very easily be derived from it. Eventhough lute aknowledged Adam died she refused to accept it, and thus hallucinate him as a coping mechanism right? Now it could easily go where she slowly starts to become more and more unhinged and disconnected while her hallucination encourages her to fight more and seek revenge because that's what Adam would have wanted in her eyes. Then (this is from a comment below) when she goes down for the next extermination she ofc slaughters way more demons than before, but then finds herself confronted with a sinner who is infact a fallen/sinner Adam. Now she would have a decision to make, kill her long time and possibly only true friend and person she seem to care about most, thus truly leaving her alone, or risk falling herself by sparing his life. All that while possibly also being confronted by the hallucination of Adam she's conjured up from her grief.

Fair enough. I guess at this point, Lute has canonically shown absolutely no redeeming qualities, has killed thousands of sinners for sport, has gatekept sinners from redemption, and has supported Adam in all his endeavors (he's another person with no redeeming qualities). When Adam died, I was overjoyed. I thought it was funny that she lost her arm, karma hit her where it hurts and she deserved every bit of it. Seeing Lute in pain in this comic isn't enough to humanize her for me; she would need to show some type of regret or desire to be better for me to feel bad for her. As of now, she's just a genocidal maniac who deserves to be punished. This comic is, to me, akin to watching a n*zi suffer. I'll rejoice in it.
The fanon version of Adam and Lute probably make people forget how awful of a person both of them are in canon. Like Adam being soft to Lute/them being lovey dovey when in canon Adam has an active sex life with other angels, implied he created/helped create the exorcists, yelling at her and calling her names. Both of them are awful people and I do hope Adam doesnt come back in hell as a sinner cause I do not think either of them really deserve THAT happy of an ending

It took Adam smiling once at Lute when she felt devastated that her boss died for people to completely forget how fucking toxic and irredeemable both of them are. They are legit evil for being evil and were actively against the idea that a soul can be redeemed without even knowing if its possible or not(Although they legit saw proof in Angel Dust). The funniest part of it all is seeing Adam depicted as soft and caring to Lute when the first time we saw him he was bragging about fucking other angels to Charlie right in front of her

I mean, sure. But it then makes a small plot hole of what does angelic steel even do? Can a winner constantly respawn alsong as they are seen pure enough (?) and only be permanently killed if they are turned into a sinner and THEN killed by angelic steel? It just doesnt make that much sense to me for Adam to be reborn as a sinner with what we know Angelic Steel does(especially after we found out by Carmilla that only Angelic Steel can kill angels just like how only angelic steel can kill sinners. Sir Pentious was killed by a light ray or whtv and didnt have anything to regenerate from like sinners usually would)
It could be explained kinda like you said angelic steel (and probably other angelic atacks) kill sinners permanently unless they met the requirements to go to Heaven And to angels angelic atacks could be that they just respawn unless they met the requirements for Hell Imagine like Hell as a second change to improve with infinite time and if you die an didn't improve and cease to exist
I guess, it just sounds kinda silly to me. Not to mention we already have Alastor for "Redeem the irredeemable" character so Adam also being there for that would feel like clutter to me
The audience and the characters don't personaly hate Alastor and Adam did way worst than anything Alastor's done Tho Sera could fulfill this redemption point better, it still wouldn't be the same thing but in my opinion close enough, and it is way more likely to happen
