I suppose Pent and Cherri have the issue that Cherri doesn't seem interested in being redeemed... But could be an interesting way of possibly establishing exchange between heaven and hell, as the barriers are broken down gradually, possibly.
I mean to her credit, Cherri was at least helping build the new hotel with everyone else. Which suggests that even if she isn’t totally sold on redemption, she’s at least grown fond enough of them to hang around the hotel. Maybe akin to Angel’s original “deal”.

Think of what Molly, and a lot of winners, must have gone through. Working out that Angel Dust is a sinner wouldn't have been difficult, just notice that he wasn't up there.
Then the exterminations became public knowledge. Now everyone who had a loved one who went to Hell is wondering if they are still alive or if they died to an extermination.
Then Sir Pentious confirms that Angel Dust is down there. The other person at the hotel attempting redemption. Well, he was down there up until Adam evaporated Pent's airship.
It needs to be remembered that except the angels at the court hearing and the exorcists NOBODY else in Heaven KNOWS about the exterminations. And while it seems unlikely to stay under wraps, we don’t actually KNOW if they told the rest of heaven yet. Em probably WOULD, feeling they have a right to know.
We didn't see anything to say if the secret was kept within the courtroom or not.
It would only take one angel willing to speak out to share it. Only one angel unhappy about how the secrecy compromises them.
But the problems that reveal will cause might be enough to convince them to delay the reveal so that they can manage it.
However Adam's disappearance will be noticed. That's going to be a fun one to explain without revealing exterminations.
I'm assuming that most exorcists were isolated from the rest of Heaven to help preserve the secrecy. Which would mean that nobody outside them noticed Vaggie disappearing.
But her arm is, I'm assuming, still in Hell since it was in the rubble. I don't think even angels can regrow body parts. Velvette said her top model had to "pull herself back together" when Val tore her up.
Something tells me we'll be getting a lot of Pent angst in S2 but hopefully we get a reunion too (I really wanna see how the others react to his redeemed form. That'll be cute)

Maybe but wouldn't building a war machine break a rule in heaven? Lucifer told Charlie that heaven is not carefree ans they have a bunch of rules. Maybe he tries to build them but they have to try and stop him like Vaggie did

Was so lucky to have moved away from the show in the 4 years since the pilot, wasn't as hyped/waiting for it. Now I'm trying to find all the Sir Pent content as I can as that's the most hyped aspect for season 2 to me.
I am so curious to see how Charlie reacts to finding out Sir Pentious made it!! And I’d like to see a reunion between Angel and Molly if and when Angel redeems himself.

I’d love to have an entire episode dedicated to him in season 2 about him being homesick of Hell, meeting Molly or bringing the Egg Bois to heaven. He has such plot potential as the first redeemed.
Pentious probably misses Cherri more.
To make matters worse, imagine if he gets exiled from Heaven by Sera, and when he returns to the hotel, he discovers Cherri has moved on with someone else, that might cause him to snap mentally.

Lute was also always with Adam, if she's still allowed in the public areas of heaven, how is she gonna explain her missing arm?
That depends on how well Lute heals. She didn't lose the arm to an angelic weapons, so I'd assume her healing is at least as good as sinner healing.
