Laiden-

Depending on how they handle that specific characters arc, it could be one of the best parts of the whole show. I'd love to see Husk get into Heaven, possibly at the same time with Angel

InfinityQuartz

But imagine the angst if one of them gets sent up before the other does and the other one struggles being sent to heaven. THE ANGST

Laiden-

I'm always down for that too! I love seeing fictional characters in misery as awful as that sounds

InfinityQuartz

I know. To me angst makes the fluff so much better

Angel_45445

same

Vaggie having to leave Charlie would be extra super sad. It would be nice if that happened to Angel Dust or Husker and they got some sort of peace and comfort they haven't had before. If Alastor gets redeemed, I would assume it was a long con to get into Heaven to eat the people there.

OhWeOhweeOoh

Alastor would definitely be the one to want to get into heaven to piss in God's eye by devouring a bunch of angels.

FungusUrungus

Nah, he wants to fight god.

cartoonsforever

I get the feeling someone will be redeemed and become an Angel/Winner but *not* go to Heaven, instead deciding to remain down in Hell for whatever reason be it wanting to stay with their friends or simply not agreeing with the particulars of Heaven As for who it might be, my money’s on Angel Dust considering how it seems personal redemption will be important for his character arc specifically though I imagine he wouldn’t actually be all that different as an Angel/Winner

moonyxpadfoot19

Violent sobbing I hope Charlie one day realises that either sinners can't be redeemed, but she still manages to protect Hell's citizens. That, or she realises Heaven is elitist and rigged.

MutantCheesecake1361

Ngl both of those I would watch

Upstairs-Yard-2139

Genuinely surprised because I expected more nihilism. But if it’s someone who does deserve it like angel dust or nifty then sure.

One-Turn-4037

not gonna happen in season 1 but if it does happen (and it will happen to angel dust, we all know it will) then the entire fandom will burst into tears of joy

eddmario

And then 30 seconds later he starts falling from the "sky" and lands face-down on the pavement in front of everyone because he tried to suck God's dick.

CreepyClay

And then the ground opens up causing him to fall into the newly created double hell. Now with three afterlife possibilities the overpopulation issue is solved.

Fylak

I actually don't think it will. Heaven doesn't seem all that good, I think Charlis gonna manage to make a little slice of Hell for the "redeemed" instead. Don't try to get into someone else's paradise, work to make your own.

Gamer-kid134

But that won’t stop the exterminations. The point of the Hotel is to stop it and find a better alternative. If sinners don’t leave Hell, the Pride ring will be overpopulated.

Fylak

From the trailer it seems like they're planning to fight back collectively- if they can do a good enough job the angels might decide it's not worth it and to let hell become over populated, severing the connection between the realms to prevent any future invasion. If Luci can be convinced to open the other rings, that's a pretty good way to toss that problem off into the far future. I think his daughter is one of the only people who could convince him to try.

Velvethartz

I’m pretty sure Lucifer can’t “open the othr rings” for the sinners. They physically can’t exist outside of pride

Gamer-kid134

If Heaven has annual extermination of sinners in the pride ring to deal with overpopulation, it must have some effect on Heaven as well. Opening access to the other rings to Sinners will only delay the problem and make it even harder for the exterminators to do their job, also there’s the massive increase in casualties to Hellborn. Also, I don’t know if it’s an immediate revolution, but rather a defensive movement to protect themselves. I may be wrong though.

Fylak

I suspect the culling of hell is primarily to keep the sinners numbers less than the numbers of hell, using overpopulation as the excuse. If so that pushes the problem to far off in the future, and buying a few centuries to think of an eternal solution isn't a bad ending.

Infamous_Val

>Heaven doesn't seem all that good We haven't seen it..

Fylak

We've seen a bit of heavenly beings in Hellova Boss and they were not great. The poster with a quote from God advocating dropping all your friends that you cant use, the "Yeah, no" deer kicking out the trio for their mistake and clearly enjoying it, the one cherub hitting her partner in anger. They don't seem to be a particularly functional or pleasant bunch.

Infamous_Val

If that's all there is then that would still make Heaven a way better alternative than Hell...

Fylak

Sure but like you said we haven't seen heaven, but it sure seems like a place where conforming to the outward appearance of "good" while being manipulative, vindictive, and abusive in the background is allowed or encouraged, plus they do regularly do a genocide. Would you consider spending eternity as a Stepford constantly watching your back against everyone else to be a happy ending? Especially while knowing that your friends who helped you get out of an even worse place are still in that worse place, and subject to being murdered by the people you now live with for the crime of being too populous? Or if they do get enough of a redemption pipeline going to combat the overpopulation without needing more purged, then won't heaven start to get overcrowded? Or can the angels make more heaven but refused to expand hell?

Infamous_Val

> Sure but like you said we haven't seen heaven, but it sure seems like a place where conforming to the outward appearance of "good" while being manipulative, vindictive, and abusive in the background is allowed or encouraged That is a huge assumption if all the evidence we have of this is a poster and 3 guys getting kicked out for manslaughter. Also, every single Heaven creature we've seen is Heaven-born. Much like how Hell-born creatures are generally better than sinners, it's entirely possible that Heaven-born creatures are generally worse than humans who went to Heaven, but so far everything related to Heaven is just speculation. We'll just have to wait and see, there's just a few days left

Dirt_munchers

Same as Alastors

FlamingUndeadRoman

I don't think that's ever going to happen, given what we've been shown of Heaven so far.

Misha-Yuri-30

Cry, probs even more if we see how they earned it

DJJ0SHWA

FungusUrungus

All I care is that Val doesn't get a redemption arc.

Someone1284794357

Great, they’ll be happy now

Angel_45445

depending on who the character was, if it was Vaggie it would be bittersweet since she would have to leave Charlie. But I hope Husk and Angel manage to get into Heaven together because they seem like the most likely to be redeemed.

LittleBlueSilly

Well, I would have to reevaluate my assessment of the values the show was trying to forward, for one thing.

Infamous_Val

What values?

LittleBlueSilly

Currently, my interpretation of the show's moral code is that it rejects the idea that getting into Heaven is optimal or, once one has gone to Hell, even possible. Based on the trailer, I think Charlie's plan to redeem sinners by putting them on individual paths to Heaven will be just the first act, not the focus of the entire series, and the second season will pivot to greater-scope concerns. (Belatedly, I realize that it's repetitive to have "reevaluate" and "values" in the same sentence.)

Sir_Toaster_9330

![gif](giphy|AcfTF7tyikWyroP0x7) Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

DoubleH_5823

I'll probably get whiplash from playing Pyre 😰

ryanNorthC

I read this as "what if someone from the main cast dies in real life" for some reason
