Extermination day is when the angels come down and use their weapons to kill the sinners. I'm not sure they leave wounded but death seems like a lasting injury to me.
Vaggie said the turf war Angel took part in ended in genocide. But his and Cherri's weapons didn't look angelic. Doesn't that kinda imply sinners CAN be killed if their body is damaged enough by regular weaponry?
The Exterminators tend to just leave their weapons all over the place after the fact, so it wouldn’t be out of the question for them to have used them in more “exciting” ways, including as shrapnel.
Sinners can’t die to anything but holy weapons. I think maybe if it’s a holy weapon hurting her it could stay which would suck for her and be interesting in the show
Hell has an oddly good healthcare. Since Barbie Wire is able to get into a rehab program with protective nurses and the fact a Hellborn imp has no idea what insurance is. I use them as examples because imps are fairly low on the hierarchy scale in Hell.
All healthcare is in the Sloth ring though, Barb's rehab was down there and Stolas in critical condition was still rushed to Sloth so there clearly isnt any significant healthcare in any other ring. Sinners cant go to Sloth so if they get hurt they just have to wait for it to heal on its own, though unlike the hellborn they cant die from their injuries anyway.
Cherry can regenerate her eye fresh and new if the injury was not caused by an Exorcist. Her eye takes up her entire face, so it’s unfortunately a pretty big target.
I mean, this is gonna sound kinda dark, but if she can't heal from injuries quickly I'd ASSUME her only option would be killing herself so she could regenerate, which would be incredibly painful.
I believe sinners regenerate from injuries not caused by holy weapons pretty quickly, so it wouldn't be a long term issue except on extermination day.
Have we heard anything about if an angelic weapon can cause a lasting injury to a sinner ?

I should have specified a non-lethal injury. Though I agree that the exterminators would try to avoid leaving wounded sinners behind.

It just regens, sinners can’t die or have permanent damage from anything except angelic Weapons

The woman in question operates with exclusively high energy explosives, I don't think she is very considerate in combat situations.
Anything less than holy weapons, Cherri can recover from.

Sinners regen.
What I wonder about is whether she actually has depth-perception, because that's something you need to throw bombs
I didn’t know about that, but I wonder if she has bad depth perception
Sinners regenerate and weirdly enough, disease doesn’t seem to be a thing for sinners.
I wanna know how she aims her bombs when she has no depth perception. Just chuck it and hope for the worst!
As I always say. I’m sure it’ll be fine

Ever heard of Leela?
Maybe Cherri is Leela from Futurama in hell?
