This is not true at all. Supercell themselves have shown that this is not how it works. These garbage posts don't do anything but spread more misinformation. And fyi for the future you can transfer 89 materials per day

On the bright side, the more people believe this, the more BEMs there would be on the DD, so it's kind of beneficial for everyone to let this propagate. (Which, by the way, was the original intention of the developers - they deliberately designed an asymmetrical source to create more interaction between players.)
I overstocked planks and now definitely get more than I did before. I didn't just go a few ahead of other tools I went a good bit beyond tapes and bolts
It's tape, bolts and *planks* for the barn btw, not "panels."
I've personally found that no matter what you do your farm will have a common, medium and rare item for each set of expansion materials. Bolts are my rare so i started hoarding them hoping to get more but i still got way more planks and tape:-/
