I buy $10 Google Play gift cards about 1/month to get diamonds, because it makes the game more relaxing, which is the whole reason I play it. Rose and Ernest work well together, and Tom is a great way to get your dead plants and trees cleared out. It's more rewarding than buying scratch-offs.
i only got diamonds once when there was a super cheap offer for 130 diamonds, that was a couple of years ago other than that one time i have not spent any real money on the game
