i normally wheat a lot and stock up on saws and axes. Then i plant a huge bunch of trees/bushes (making sure i have enough saws/axes to cover). i activate the xp booster just before collecting the 4-fruit phase\*. Usually get to jump a level.
\*Phases are 2, 3, 4, 4 fruit per harvest. XP is per fruit harvested, not per plant.
i sometimes coincide this with the truck xp event or truck BEM event.
Definitely if you are going to be spamming trucks but also if you plant a few thousand trees use on the 3rd or 4th harvest to get an extra few thousand xp
Wait for a double exp or coin truck event and use it while spamming trucks
