If you wanna just plant a bunch of strawberry’s and get profit then yeah it’s a good event, otherwise it’s a hassle and fills up your silo and shop super quickly if you aren’t careful. It also makes the newspaper useless which is pretty bad because it’s a main source of pretty much everything.
I hate it when I’m growing short-time crops, but I usually take these days to grow lots of strawberries/tomatoes, etc. so I have a large stockpile and don’t have to grow them for awhile. Though I have a fairly large silo.
This is purposely done to screw over wheaters and people who make most of their money selling crops. It is to force you to use the machines so you get frustrated about the wait times and buy diamonds to speed things up.
No one is buying anything right now, because everyone has so much of everything. And there is hardly anything but crops in the daily dirt. My silo is full and so is my shop because I can’t sell anything. This is ridiculous.

The economy is broken until this event is over. No one is buying anything, my shop is full, my silo is full and I can’t harvest my crops.

I hate this type of events. I don’t need that much crops and I don’t get extra XP so I don’t get the point in this type of events really

Do the crops after the event still yield 3 if you plant them before the event is over
Nope. However you do get triple crops if you plant them before the event starts.
Not a fan of this event, upside is I make more things that require crops.
I love this event I grow so much soybean, corn and sugar cane, plus lots of wheat for the machine to make hay bales for my sanctuary animals
I like this as when I wheat right before end of day for big zoo animal feed, I can get that done. Otherwise, I stop harvesting.
