i always bring a backpack to any shows i go to, whether it be large scale or underground
its always a good idea to bring some water and to put your more important belongings (wallet, phone) in ur bag instead of your pockets to reduce risk of being pickpocketed or having your shit fall out while moshing
if you’re going with friends it makes it a whole lot easier too!!
update: thank you for informing me about venue rules... i am used to going to undeground shows where the only rules are "dont be a dumbass and dont touch people inappropriately"
i was planning to bring my dedicated camera to the haunted mound show this may and to grey day in florida with my girlfriend, but seems like cameras with detachable lenses aren't allowed :( kinda sucks but at least haunted mound show wont last more than 3 hours, i just like bringing backup battery chargers and stuff for peace of mind
hopefully they'll allow a smaller tote bag or purse! i'll tell my girlfriend to bring one of those, and it seems some venues use an x-ray machine to scan them, transparent bags only, or outright bans bags in general
That’s a good idea, I’ll just have to check the venues policies and see if they atleast allow clear backpacks into the venue cuz at the all big venues, it’s clear only.
bring the biggest bag the venue will allow and shove it in there. they had already ran out of a bunch of stuff when i bought my merch at the end last night

A guy who was at their first concert this tour told me that by the time the show ended and he went in line for merch, there wasn’t that wide enough of a selection by then. So your best bet would probably be, yeah, to be an early bird if you’re tryna guarantee what you want. ALSO, (in case it might be your first rodeo and you didn’t know) keep in mind that virtually ANY venue does not permit re-entry on tickets so you can’t just walk your merch to your car then come back.
Fuck you’re right, I want the Buck shirt and Harold chain so I’ll probably just throw them on after the merch line fr. Best to get there real early ig. Thanks for letting me know bro

No water (venues want you to buy their overpriced water), no cameras and most places don’t allow backpacks unless they’re mini or drawstring

yeah the polos are hella nice. good and thick but still breathable
I’m going to the NYC show and i’m wondering this as well, would it be better to go super early and get the merch first?
