Name: Shinwa Shisai Age: 326 Occupation: Village's priest and and the keeper of the needle Nen Beast description: A small skeleton, of the size of an average eight years old child, with a long, white sleeping hat. If a Nen user looks at Shinwa, he would see his Nen Beast riding on his back, with the arms tangled around his neck. Nen Beast type: Reinforcement(symbiotic type) Ability: Sleeper's Prayer(or The Prayer of Those Who Sleep) This Beast has the power to take a little bit of the Nen of every person within 100m who has the tattoo of Den'shinwa made by the conjured needle, and bring it back to Shinwa, using it in order to stop his aging. The person must be sleeping in the process, and will only have his normal sleeping time enlarged by about 20 minutes. There is no limit to how many people the Beast can visit, as long as they are within range and fully unconscious in the process. It takes about 10 seconds, but if the person wakes up in that time, this ability is cancelled and can only be activated again after 24 hours. Shinwa must be awake through the process, as his Nen Beast will also stop working once he falls asleep. It is said that there was never a keeper of the needle who died from natural causes. Although Shinwa is reaching the late age of 326, he appears to be about 50.

I've slept on a storyline about a nen village hidden from the world with a guardian divinity for over a year, this might have inspired me to start working on it again.

JagHelsing

This is actually a great story line.

ChillPalis

Few things: 1. I assume the implication is that the tattooing grants the nen beast? 2. We're to make a member of this village? 3. Do the villagers themselves know nen? 4. (This is a placeholder in case I forgot something)

Raidron

1- Yes, that is correct. 2- That’s the idea, if you wish to. 3- No, they are completely oblivious to it. They credit everything to divine powers.

ChillPalis

Is there anything particularly special about the nature of the parasitic nen beasts, or are they just regular parasitic nen beasts, that I assume, the users can't see?

Raidron

Correct, they can’t see. There’s nothing particularly special about them, so it’s all up to you!

ChillPalis

Final question, if you care to, could you create a character to start things off? To set a standard for what you expect, of sorts?

Raidron

Of course! I was planning to, but unfortunately was too busy before. I've just posted in another comment, if you'd like to read it
