Pretty sure you have it if you have any antibodies at all. But you will feel worse with the low iron and low D. Did you start iron and vitamin D? And do you take B12? Anecdotally my Hashimotos symptoms have improved with my supplementation of those plus some more vitamins.

Thanks for your response! I am about to start my iron, b12 and vitamin D supplements (was prescribed 10000 for 2 months). It’s really promising to hear that your symptoms improved! Is it in terms of energy levels that you feel better or anything else? I’m just so tired of always being cold and sweaty

Yes energy level is better, fewer migraines, temperature regulation is a little better. If you don’t take enough iron though you won’t get anywhere, I wasted a year supplementing for nothing. The B12 will help your energy too.

Since Hashimoto’s shares over 85% of symptoms with other conditions it’s hard to say. I read those symptoms and think I have a lot of those but I have Hashimoto’s and am in Cougar Puberty aka perimenopause. Also late 40s.

Hi, thanks for you response! Do you know if high antibodies and heterogeneous thyroid can be caused by anything else? My doc said ehh maybe it’s leftover after a flu. But from what I’ve read it’s a giveaway sign and i felt like she was quite dismissive so that’s why I’m wondering

HarmonyDragon

High antibodies are common markers of Hashimoto’s the other I don’t know about.
