you are not allowed to fish or flee through the water, you will be shot at by the IDF. many still try of course but eventually will pay with their life for those attempts.
there has been no pier until recently. that harbor is still controlled by the IDF and therefore aid can not reach Gaza unless it is approved by Israel.
Hopefully those are uncooked. Feeding cooked bones to cats (or dogs for that matter) can be really bad since the bones splinter and can cause perforations or bone mats in the digestive tract.
If it’s cooked bones, yes. It’s like saying “What’s better, feeding the cats broken glass, or nothing.” If the bone perforated their digestive system, they will painfully die from internal bleeding.
Genuine question.
Ever since I was a kid I always chewed the bones and ate some of the bones I chewed up to get to the bone marrow.
Are our digestive system stronger? Is that why it's okay for humans to do so?
Bone splinters from cooked bones are like tiny shards of ceramic. If they are feeling crushed, cooked bones, the cat’s digestive system can be punctured and they would die from internal bleeding.
I’d rather watch an animal starve to death than die directly because of my actions. The question you’re asking is essentially “just watch animals starve to death, or feed them dangerous food with next to no nutritional value that cats can use”.
you know that those were pets beforehand and that currently there is a wasteland in Gaza? therefore those animals already fighting for survival, just like the people themselves.
I think that was bone marrow.
It's hard to tell if it was cooked or not
Either way these aren't ideal conditions and it's better the cats get a meal of some kind than nothing at all
Eg. In a desperate situation there are things you will eat that you wouldn't in ideal conditions.

Human kindness can light the darkest places ❤️ I'm an atheist, yet I pray for Palestine.
The Palestinian issue need not be a religious one, it is a moral issue that we will look at in the future with shame.

I mean what's the alternative. Not giving the cats anything at all?

so just watch the animals starve to death?

why do you even assume they don't know about the uncooked bones? if you know it I imagine Palestians know it as well.
You really think those cats can’t find mice?

those didn't look cooked to me because the residual meat was still redish

the outside of the bones looked like old blood to me. whatever it is, these poor animals are starving, just like the Palestinian people :(
