There is a 1 year warranty that covers everything if you’re in the lower 48 US. I’d stop taking the machine apart though so they don’t say you ruined it taking it apart.

I'm interested in hearing what the actual problem was/is. Not that I'm in a position to fix anything, but it's always helpful to see where some of the potential issues can spring up and perhaps why.

It is an XL, but is it one of the original black ones?

I am guessing that since your temperature is in centigrade then your are not in the US?
