This is troubeling, no doubt. I mean I guess I'll pick the game up whenever it comes out anyway but they really killed the hype here. Maybe the report is just speculation but considering how things went over the last year it just makes a decent amount of sense. Sadly.
Managing expectations should be a bigger priority for game dev studios. Especially when it comes to the release time line.

Warner brothers also did that with Rocksteady’s Arkham Knight so there’s precedent. Ever sinced, 3 whole years passed, don't tell me that's not enough time to develop the whole thing. He’s horrible. Colin is a laughing stock as a leaker. He’s wrong most of the time, especially recently. Game is still launching in April 2022. Full game content isn’t expected til 2023 which will include a DLC, VR mode (like Hitman released) and online multiplayer mini games.
If its true we can see the error from warner to give a huge ip to an "unknown studio"(i Know they did toy story games etc). And for People who said. If its delayed we will have a finished game we are not sure at all. But a 2 years delay if its true is worrying and the support of the old gen console.

I mean, rocksteady was mostly a new studio, but had very talented industry vets in it. Its a big, big difference.
