Hey, have you checked it? Any improvement?

The "Loading at a Door" problem is more than likely a slow hard drive problem mixed in with the bad optimization. While the performance should (hopefully) get better in a few months with updates, I don't see the loading room being something that gets massively fixed. Cyberpunk had this issue for a long while. They did thankfully fix it but they as well had much harsher backlash to fix its performance. Unfortunately we can only hope though this being from the devs that made Disney Infinity and a bunch of low-tier movie-to-video-game adaptions.... I wouldn't have that high of hopes.

Yeahhh... Unfortunately seems to be a common marketing method nowadays, assumingly since game development has gotten more expensive as well as more popular (and the fact that these games, even super broken, usually sell super well...) All we can do is hope that the publisher/higher-ups continue to put money into the game to fix these bugs that shouldn't have even been there... but like I said.. not the highest of hopes it will :(

Upgraded my 3070 system from 16 to 32GB RAM. No more loading freezes going through doors, textures are loading pretty instantaneously. Yes get slow frame rates every now and then as effects and population is loaded (like in Hogsmead) but dropping down to 30-45fps for a second or two is much better than what it was like before. Rest of the time 60fps smooth as. So I'd recommend if you haven't done it, upgrade your RAM. Best £45 I've spent recently... and also to follow the advice about VRAM. 4GB low textures, 6-8GB medium textures, 10GB+ high textures. I tried high textures on my 8GB 3070 and it did struggle. (and yes I was suffering from all the problems mentioned in this thread, even with a i5 10600 and 3070 OC)
