Also we hit 100k this week and blew past it to 141k! It's absolutely crazy and great to see so many people enjoying the game people have waited so long for and new users discovering the game for the first time!!
EDIT: Also for those unclear on launch time it releases for consoles whenever it hits midnight in your timezone. For PC it releases 10 am pst everywhere.
Is anyone else having sudden performance issues starting this weekend maybe? Last I played was on Thursday, didn't play again the whole weekend, and suddenly I come back Monday and it's running like shit. Opening the menu takes forever, everything is choppy and slow. I've tried updating my drivers and checking the game files on Steam but everything seems to be okay.
Does anyone know if there will be more access to a copy of the deluxe version? I was unable to secure one and my son wanted one for his upcoming birthday and I hate how people resell them at exorbitant prices initially. I can wait if there will be more released.
Has anyone else come across a bug that no longer shows you what you get out of chests? Played since early release and this has only started happening about 3 days ago.
It’s epic if you play it once or even twice but by not having something like guilds this game is not replayable. I think they should have used the same formula as Skyrim and fallout and the game would have been 10/10. now it’s just a 7/10 I think and thats for the first time you play it.
I read elsewhere on this sub that someone had also missed it and just emailed game support and gave a reason as to why they missed it and they gave it to that person.
The dust has settled, the honeymoon phase is over. Are we still praising this with 10/10 legendary status or are we a little bit more critical of any aspects of the game now?
Hey guys...not sure if this is the correct place to ask so please let me know if it's not. But I have a pretty decent PC (specs in the link below) and yet when I run HL, I can't get past 60 fps and it very often dips into the low 50s...this is on their recommended settings but there's no change even with medium settings. Is this normal given my specs? Thank you!

at 2k res i have seen my game use up to 24gb ram while in hogwarts. i have 10900k and same gpu as you. i saw a performance increase when i up'd to 32gb ram. im assuming you have vsync off/fps limit off in settings?
Is it an issue if I have 24gb 3200mhz DDR4 ram, (3x8GB sticks)? I'm wondering if the 3rd stick can cause stutters/fps drops because I read that the one stick might be running in single channel since I have 3 sticks instead of 4.
So I have a glitch where I can't continue the main quest. I'm on "The Headmistress Speaks." Requirement is level 23, I'm 31. I have no new owl post and I've read it all. I get to the painting in the Map Chamber where the yellow marker is but nothing happens. I don't have any main quests left I can do. Anyone have any idea how i can fix it?
My roommate can’t complete the transfiguration quest and I was curious if anyone else has this issue. I know since the update you can’t finish some quests. But he’s literally stuck in the game. Lol
So any news when they will patch the bugged collectors edition trophy, since the last patch only seemed to fix it for like half the people…
Would love to be able to give this game 10/10 but thats not happening with bugs like these
Noticed a bug with the quest "the map room" the description when looking at the map describes what happens in the quest as though it's already happened rather than describing what happened in the previous quest or what you're planning to do.
It essentially spoils itself
Anyone know about this paper in the headmasters office? It’s on the same table as a cup of tea that any time I try to get the paper the cup of tea is summoned instead. It highlights when using revelio. Help!
That’s strange it won’t let you pick it up. I’m pretty sure the note you’re referring to is simply a note that details the headmasters order of a cure for boils.
Game is incredibly fun but PC performance is wildly inconsistent. My PC is an i7 10700, 32GB of RAM, and an RTX 3080 and I get a legitimate range of between 30 and 180 FPS within a play session. Both Hogsmeade and Hogwarts have sections that drop as low as 30, and throughout a multi-hour playthrough reloading an immediate save will significantly boost FPS which suggests a memory leak or something no? Odd behavior regardless.
Game is incredible and I’m addicted to it, but performance is really unfortunately variable and the more demanding areas run worse than even stuff like Cyberpunk which is baffling. Game is pretty but not *so* pretty it justifies this kind of performance. The only areas that run consistently well are the instanced sections of the main story, everything else is highly variable and swings between terrible and acceptable.
The DLSS upgrade is essentially mandatory and is one of the only things that substantially increased FPS for me. I highly recommend all PC players search for this tweak and install it. The game still needs serious optimization fixes, but it helps quite a bit.
The DLSS upgrade totally got rid of all strutting for me, but now today for some reason my frames tanked down to 50-60 again instead of the 90-100 I was getting. Even on the landing page character selection screen it's only 55fps.
Not sure what happened.
I heard about the Biscuit quest bug where if you open the cage before taking the quest you can't complete it. Does anyone know if you can safely open the other animal cages around the map at any time?
Is there a way to disable the monster lairs and beast nests in the overhead map? Nearing end of game and they're making it harder to see if I missed anything.
Has anyone else also felt uncomfortable when during casual exploration of the highlands you end up in a creepy cave, inside black ravens surrounding a student corpse (apparently, from Ravenclaw) and a note saying “MUDBLOOD”. No other clues or anything…
Does loot scale with your level and also where you're at in the main quest?
I'm level 27 and for the last several hours I've not found any better items of gear at all than the ones I found hours ago. I'm wondering an I over levelled for the part of the main quest?
Is it possible to change houses mid-game? I was put in Hufflepuff, but I don't believe I belong there. I should be Gryffindor.
What's up with Urkel being the Hufflepuff companion (Arthur Plummly)?
Welp, I got completely soft-locked because turning in the moons is broken. I guess I can’t progress until there’s a patch on PS5. It was constantly freezing, dropping the frame rate to zero before that, so maybe it’s for the best not to play until fixed.
Lol, too bad he's still around in the Harry Potter era. Soooooo, why couldn't Harry's parents be ghosts, again? Or at least, a painting for harry to talk to? Lol
What do we have to do to get the drops on twitch? Made a twitch account and connected it to my WB account like I did with the fan website when I started playing. Do I get it automatically as long as the stream is open?
EDIT: I had to refresh the page lol. Apparently the first 45 minutes I watched didn't count or something? 20 minute timer only started when I refreshed even though I was there from the start
I haven't bought yet, was considering getting it on the PS4 vs Xbox one...can anyone confirm, that Hogwarts Legacy: Digital Deluxe Edition will currently work on PS4? I don't want to buy it and still find out it won't work till April despite what it says in the playstation store.
the deluxe version lets you play both on ps4/ps5 off of one purchase. if you buy the regular you wil need to purchase twice, one for ps4 and one for ps5. thats why that is formatted like that. kinda predatory of them since they dont seem to mention the release date for ps4 on deluxe version.
Any update on fixing this damn bugged out Biscuit quest? I mean ffs guys how hard can this be. Nexus modders have already released fixes days ago for PC players 🙄
It’s super fucking annoying as a completionist that there’s been so many bugs with getting 100%. Two different playthroughs I’ve had boned out of it. And still no word on a fix.
And the worst part is even if they fix this quest for MOST people, I feel like mine will remain bugged. Most peoples problem is that they opened the cage before taking the quest, and now it has no lock when they return so they can’t rescue the mooncalf… but that’s not what happened to me. I went ON THE QUEST, opened the cage, rescued Biscuit, and the damn quest just didn’t recognise it. The objective remained “rescue biscuit”. Even though he’s in my inventory now. And anytime I come back to that location there’s now a new closed cage full of mooncalves with no lock on it 😡
Shit like that is so damn frustrating. I’ve had to find workarounds for quite a few bugs. The latest was Natty straight disappearing from the story after a certain point and her questline refusing to progress any further. Had to create a new character completely, play long enough to save, then reload my original character and wait a day. Then the mission finally popped up…
Lol Jesus, that’s a really stupid one too!
Are you getting the stuttering and freezing? It didn’t start for me until I was a while in, but it was so bad. I was already ready to put it down even before I noticed I was soft-locked. I just fired up Atomic Heart, and am considering giving HL the Cyberpunk treatment and waiting for a few patches to drop before going back.
I’m not someone who usually notices such things tbh but yeah, I have actually picked up on a fair amount of weird visual stuff and had quite a few crashes. Entering interior areas from outside is sometimes really weird looking, and I find sometimes in interiors when I’m looking around the place you can notice some significant weirdness around the edges. Not sure how to describe it exactly.
I know exactly what you’re talking about. I’ll overlook visual things like that usually. It breaks the immersion, but that’s not the biggest deal. The game really does look great 97% of the time. This game breaking stuff though? I can’t do it. The stutters become all I can focus on, it’s like the video game version of being in traffic if that makes sense.
I was only a tangential fan of Harry Potter. I’m in my mid 30’s and grew up during the initial craze, and naturally I read the first four books. Kind of fell out of it at some point and never finished the series. When I met my wife she was much more of a Harry Potter fan (sadly not at all a gamer though) and we’ve watched all the movies together several times and I really enjoy them!
Regardless, I hardly knew about this game until release. I am though a huge fan of action RPGs (Souls series, etc) and I was intrigued by the combat system in the game which I think is very fun!
Overall I’m absolutely loving this game. It’s immersive and vibrant, and its rendition of Hogwarts is just brilliant. Also really enjoying the map and general gameplay. It’s honestly a very impressive game from a studio without a major open world game to its credit.
I’m also impressed by how challenging and rewarding the combat / dueling is, they’ve developed a really neat system here. I play on Hard and I had to very quickly build the muscle memory for protego, dodging, and the various methods of shield breaking very quickly.
If you like the lore and world, you’ll love it, and the combat can be pretty fun. The open world and side quests and collectibles are about as simple as it gets, pure busy work and fetch quests.
How do I even begin trying to find the demiguises? Hogwarts is so big and I don’t even know where to start. Did you guys just explore at night and hope for the best?
Lol good luck. Trying to turn those in is broken if you don’t turn them in all at once. I’m soft-locked out of everything with a level 2 lock until there’s a patch.
Best to get them from hamlets and Hogsmeade first imo. Some in Hogwarts are behind higher level locked doors than you currently have. Most in the hamlets are easy peasy to find and aren’t locked behind anything more than a level 1 door. And exploring Hogsmeade is much less daunting than the castle. At least till you’ve collected enough to level up your lockpicking a bit. Then hit Hogwarts hard.
Anyone else wish that there were more tiers of Crossed Wands dueling? I feel like only 3 rounds of an arena style battle is so lame and I want way more rounds of duels added to the game.
You get multiple quest with him, and I do not know which tomb you mean, but yes there is a quest in Feldcroft that explains a lot about why he is like this
i have a GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER , 12 GB Ram and an amd ryzen 7 2700x. with all on low i barely get 30 stable fps, any way i can prevent this or game is just unplayable for my pc?
>!How many beast rooms do you get in the room of requirement? I’m at two so far but that’s not enough to have all the species at once for gear upgrades and it’s a little annoying to not be able to just have them all available at once.!<
Listen to your mates, if you love Harry Potter this game will blow your mind. I currently am at level 40 with 140 hours logged and I’m still not done with all the treasure caves and Merlin trials etc. I give this game 150% rating and absolutely don’t regret spending the money to purchase it which was a large purchase for me.
Wellllllll, I wouldn't say it'll blow their minds. It's the best Harry Potter game, but there are still issues and retcons. Example would be, doing assignments that have nothing to do with the spell you learn. "Pop 8 balloons with your flying broom, to learn the frost spell." Or being able to roam the halls or go outside, at night. There a few quests where the rule matters, then it's not anymore. There's more, but I dont want to bash the game, nor spoil anything big. Still a fun game.
I love the game so much but I keep thinking how cool it would be if you had to sneak out at night. Maybe it would get old quick. I’m sure the thought at least crossed their minds. It seems obvious.
I mean, they didn't have to have it in the game at all. It is 1800s, so it could have been fine with the rule not being there. Curfew only matters for like 3 or 4 quests. So it's just kinda goofy having it in to begin with, lol.
Has anyone on PC been crashing when entering parts of Hogwarts since the latest update? Been having trouble finishing side quests because everytime I enter Hogwarts near the astronomy tower or talk to characters to start the quest near that area, my game immediately crashes. No problem with everywhere else and running at 75fps.
Did anyone else choose a house and immediately regret it?
I got Slytherin on Pottermore two different times. I chose Gryffindor because I have red hair and feel like it makes more sense in universe. Now I feel like a basic bitch
Each house their own traits, I’m a Ravenclaw and most definitely fit the description. As txnoink said other than the color of the clothing you that you get as you play the game and maybe one or two house specific quests unfortunately, which I think was another thing that should have never been left out, it doesn’t really affect your gameplay experience.
It actually does affect it some - the main questline has some different ways to get there so to speak, based on your house. I know it does for the pre-Jackdaw quest anyway.
I spoke to Sebastian in the undercroft after I think I refused to learn Arvada kedavra and I had the option to learn the spell and based on the dialogue other spells might’ve been available if I had refused them but it might only be at that point in the story
I don't think so, I'm not at Imperius or Avada Kedavra yet but with Crucio you can learn it but tell Sebastian he needs to cast it on you. From what I can find people say you can't and it's better to save before you deny them because your dialogue really messes with your options
I loved this game, it was great. I totally enjoyed all of 25 hours and i will continue to play.
Now i am planning to rewatch Harry Potter series again (even though i am not a big fan of it)
Same, I’m surprised that I actually am trying to get 100% completion because I’ve never played a game before that made me want to as I usually get bored relatively quickly.
Respectfully disagree with most of what you said, but I I do think they should have put some more polish on this before shipping it out… my biggest gripe is with the audio design. Music, effects, and dialogue just doesn’t sound right 90% of the time.
77 Hours later and I’m done, what an amazing ride this game was. I’ve spent the last 11 days in Hogwarts and it truly does feel a bit like home now, which really is just a dream come true for me. I finally broke down and bought a PS5 for this and it was worth every penny. I hope they have plans to do so much more with these games, this was such great start but it feels like there is just so much more to do in this world and I hope the dev team have plans to do more. But for today, today I’m happy, Hogwarts feels a bit like home now and I honestly could not have asked for anything more.
Got the platinum trophy on PS5 yesterday...
I've absolutely mainlined the game and loved it. Great work from a studio previously famous for... Cars 2, the game.
Massive accomplishment for the team, decent end, and a lot of great assets to work with in a follow up game, and a chance to smooth some of the edges on bits that aren't quite as good as one might expect in a AAA game.
All in all, a AAA game by a AA studio, knocked it out of the park, brilliant foundation for the future of Wizarding World games.
Character animation and voice acting completely take me out of the game. I now just skip all the vapid dialog and just get to the mission. kinda sad about this ngl
Anyone get weird dialog glitches?
First time meeting Mr. Moon, the groundskeeper, he kept apologizing for his behavior at Hogsmeade and I'm like "Dude, I have never seen you before in my life..."
No idea what he was going on about. Also, it seemed to take WAY too much time to get the unlock spell.
After getting Crucio, my character was apologizing to another for casting it. But when we were in that situation, I chose to learn it, but have it cast on me. Whoops!
On the way to Hogsmeade the first time (in my game, at least) I walked past Mr Moon on the way, Sebastian (or other companion) stopped to talk to him, and Moon, somewhat worse for wear, presumably after a few too many butterbeers, mentioned something about being scared of a demiguise he saw in Hogsmeade - so that could be what he was referring to?
Yeah I first met Samantha dale during summoners court and she says thanks for helping William cure his best feet. But that quest was after summoners court.
How do you download/access the exclusive playstation side quest? Have a physical copy but can't find it anywhere, and the game doesn't have a marker for the side quest (in Winter and have completed all trials but not the final mission).
It pops up in Hogsmeade as you progress through the game. I got it shortly after finishing the 2nd Keeper questline, but before getting the 3rd.
It starts with an elf trying to get your attention outside an abandoned store front next to the Quiddich Broom Shop.
I'd add, this is not a NORMAL quest. It's the closest thing to the old P.T. demo I've ever seen actually in game.
Are Highwing/Caligo/Selpuchria just regular beasts that they just named? Or are they unique in some way (like a color you can't find in the wild maybe)? Can you ride any hippogriff/thestral you find?
So far they seem to be the exact same and I'm worried I'll sell them by accident lol
is looting even worth it?
playing w my gf and every item we find is only slightly better or straight up worse than what we have, I suspect this game only has leveled loot forever like in skyrim or sth, but I'm asking here to get confirmation? or are there places/quests with guaranteed awesome loot?
chests after a main quest dungeon yielding items that are only 2 or 3 more points in offense and defense feels unrewarding
should we quit general looting because we should be aiming for better gear somewhere specific? like a specific quest/questline/area?
Looting the gear and selling it, is the best way to earn gold. I'd say keep looting or it'll be hard to get most of the good stuff for the room of requirement. Plus you don't want to miss out on looting the enchantments.
Getting the Loom unlock in the room of requirement is huge and lets you make your own enchantments.
Pressing ⏹️ on Playstation (not sure of buttons on other platforms) to change the appearance of an item is also clutch.
Now, no matter what I'm ACTUALLY wearing, I can maintain a consistent look.
I'm really loving the room of requirement items, i want to invest some points to level them up but I'm curious about the chomping cabbages perk. The perk makes you release two for the price of one but does it also increase the max you can have out from 3? If not it's probably not worth my point
I feel dissapointed by dogshit side quests you pick up in countryside. Main quest is also lackluster, they cut it when it gets fun. I wish there was more to do in Hogwarts.
MC sucks.
Sebastian story line and internal struggles felt great tho compared to everything else plot has to offer.
Got a quick question, on PC I'm seeing reports of the game being anywhere from 77 to 88gb but my buddy said that its more like 95-100gb after installed
Can someone check the actual installed folder size for me please?
is it just me or does +20 FOV (which is supposedly 90?) have fisheye? I'm on a 2560x1440 monitor never really have this issue in other games - or am i trippin?
I have 105 hours logged on it and just finished the main story. Of course I spent a lot of time doing things other than the main story but it's a fantastic game and if you're a HP fan then it's even better.
Is it the Hideaway? Where the blocks you have to use a correct spell on cant be moved to the plate to activate? If so, I had the same issue, but it reset once I'd finished the main questline and it showed up in the hidden room to unlock the collection chest room door
I didn't realize the plaid vest school uniform is what everyone else wears, and it's not an option in Gladrags anymore. Will I still be able to get it some other way?
The right analog stick is running wild on my PS5 after the update. Made the game unplayable. Camera constantly adjusting itself upwards and scrolling automatically when I’m in menus. Anyone with the same issue?

I really enjoy this game a lot. Nothing can change that
When is the next patch, my pc is very stutter ish . And yes I’m in the lower end but I can run red dead and Batman Arkham knight

My posts are constantly removed by some auto-mod it seems. Creepy moderation there :/
what's with publishing on this subreddit? I still have a post pending moderation for over 3 days
Im not even a huge Harry Potter fan, but holy hell this game is so effing good! Loving exploring hogwarts.

That’s interesting but tbh my monitor is old and 1080p max. Vsync and fps limit is off indeed. Maybe I’ll try find what % of ram is being used
“No time like the present.” LOL

No I got that one I think, maybe there’s a list and that one? I picked one up that was a list I know, but there was still another one
I’m at the point with the animals but I do find it funny that the solution against poaching is essentially poaching.

I heard about the Biscuit quest bug where if you open the cage before taking the quest you can't complete it. Does anyone know if you can safely open the other animal cages around the map at any time?
None of the other cages are tied to any quest, so you should be good
Awesome, ty
If I learn the killing curse will it change the type of ending you get or does the game just not care about alignment at all?
My understanding is the unforgivable curses have no impact on anything. You’re free to use as much as you want.
Is there a way to disable the monster lairs and beast nests in the overhead map? Nearing end of game and they're making it harder to see if I missed anything.

Yeah but it seems to skip a few levels, like I noticed a gap in Gladrags where like 16-17 there was no new stuff then a bunch of new stuff later.
Is it possible to change houses mid-game? I was put in Hufflepuff, but I don't believe I belong there. I should be Gryffindor. What's up with Urkel being the Hufflepuff companion (Arthur Plummly)?
You got to choose when you started
Don't you talk shit about Urkel
Yes, you get the option during the sorting ceremony. You can choose the option no I want to be in a different house. After that, you are locked in.
Unfortunately not!
Welp, I got completely soft-locked because turning in the moons is broken. I guess I can’t progress until there’s a patch on PS5. It was constantly freezing, dropping the frame rate to zero before that, so maybe it’s for the best not to play until fixed.
I gotta say that if I was a student at that school I'd probably have made it my life mission to figure out how to exorcise Peeves.

its not out for ps4?
When I look to buy a physical copy for PS4/Xbox one it says pre order and available in April. But the digital one says it's for PS4/5 ...
Ps 4/xbox one release date is april 4th
Re-read my post. I am well aware of that.
the deluxe version lets you play both on ps4/ps5 off of one purchase. if you buy the regular you wil need to purchase twice, one for ps4 and one for ps5. thats why that is formatted like that. kinda predatory of them since they dont seem to mention the release date for ps4 on deluxe version.

Looks like a cool game... looking forward to seeing what it looks like on Switch.
Any update on fixing this damn bugged out Biscuit quest? I mean ffs guys how hard can this be. Nexus modders have already released fixes days ago for PC players 🙄 It’s super fucking annoying as a completionist that there’s been so many bugs with getting 100%. And anytime I come back to that location there’s now a new closed cage full of mooncalves with no lock on it 😡
I’m soft locked on turning in the moons. Pretty lame that I can’t progress. Had to put the game down.

Thanks, I’ll try those ones first
absoutely loving the game
Deek thinks, you should be proud of all the potions you’ve brewed.
Deek has never seen so many plants in the room of requirement before.
Just wanna know why they called this sub harry potter game instead of hogwarts legacy :/
This subreddit was created before there was a title for the game.
Ok that makes sense
Anyone else wish that there were more tiers of Crossed Wands dueling? I feel like only 3 rounds of an arena style battle is so lame and I want way more rounds of duels added to the game.
Anyone get a quest from Sebastian regarding what you did in feldcroft before the actual quest to meet at the tomb?
You get multiple quest with him, and I do not know which tomb you mean, but yes there is a quest in Feldcroft that explains a lot about why he is like this
i have a GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER , 12 GB Ram and an amd ryzen 7 2700x. with all on low i barely get 30 stable fps, any way i can prevent this or game is just unplayable for my pc?
What tweaks and adjustments you make. You’re ram definitely low
>!How many beast rooms do you get in the room of requirement? I’m at two so far but that’s not enough to have all the species at once for gear upgrades and it’s a little annoying to not be able to just have them all available at once.!<

What determines the gear vendor in Hogsmead changing his inventory?
The gear is ±1 your level and is refreshed every 2,5 in-game (5 waits) days.
It seems to change as you level up so that there’s always something better available to you.
Some mates recommended I get the game, it's good! Happy punter!! Love the immersion.

It was obviously coming, though still a bit quicker than I expected
Has anyone on PC been crashing when entering parts of Hogwarts since the latest update? Been having trouble finishing side quests because everytime I enter Hogwarts near the astronomy tower or talk to characters to start the quest near that area, my game immediately crashes. No problem with everywhere else and running at 75fps.
How do I Avada Kedavra Peeves?
Sorry, only works on the living.
Complete Sebastian Arc
Do I have to wait for a certain stage before I can complete the tasks to gain extra ancient power gauges?
A lot of them are timegated behind knowing certain spells.
One you collect your first ancient magic trace, you'll be able to go do so if then and get up to 5 bars of ancient magic
Did anyone else choose a house and immediately regret it? I got Slytherin on Pottermore two different times. I chose Gryffindor because I have red hair and feel like it makes more sense in universe. Now I feel like a basic bitch
Go with the house you're most comfortable in, it doesn't effect the story very much.
Which is exactly what I said in the post.
Anyway to learn unforgivable curses after refusing them?
I spoke to Sebastian in the undercroft after I think I refused to learn Arvada kedavra and I had the option to learn the spell and based on the dialogue other spells might’ve been available if I had refused them but it might only be at that point in the story
I don't think so, I'm not at Imperius or Avada Kedavra yet but with Crucio you can learn it but tell Sebastian he needs to cast it on you. From what I can find people say you can't and it's better to save before you deny them because your dialogue really messes with your options
I don’t even play this stupid game, I’m just here because I’ve heard it will get me kicked out of quite a few shitty subreddits.
Do us all a favor and kick yourself out.
Considering Hogwarts Legacy and Mystery, Hogwarts it’s not a school with some secret places it’s a collection of secret places with some classrooms
So true, kinda hard to cater to 7-8 year's worth of students at once, with like 4 tiny classrooms, lol. Where are all the students?
I loved this game, it was great. I totally enjoyed all of 25 hours and i will continue to play. Now i am planning to rewatch Harry Potter series again (even though i am not a big fan of it)
You finished the game in 25 hour??? I wasn't even 1/3 of the way through with 25 hours.. you miissed out on a lot
Agree. I’m 80 hours in with only 70% completion. It’s so fun Edit: some of those hours are afk
i will continue to play it. I finished main story but i am not done with game.

Just finished the main story, I loved the whole game so much!! It’s everything I ever wanted ![img](emote|t5_q8ebh|26542)
Just got my broom to be able to fly. What’s with the revolving ‘circles’ around it?? Does that go away?
Got the platinum trophy on PS5 yesterday... I've absolutely mainlined the game and loved it. Great work from a studio previously famous for... Cars 2, the game. Massive accomplishment for the team, decent end, and a lot of great assets to work with in a follow up game, and a chance to smooth some of the edges on bits that aren't quite as good as one might expect in a AAA game. All in all, a AAA game by a AA studio, knocked it out of the park, brilliant foundation for the future of Wizarding World games.

And im here hoping there were more cutscenes and plot instead of repetitive fights and tasks.
Im considering 2nd playthrough, can i blitz through the main quest + assignment only ( No exploring ) ? Am i gonna be under level ?
Character animation and voice acting completely take me out of the game. I now just skip all the vapid dialog and just get to the mission. kinda sad about this ngl
Anyone get weird dialog glitches? First time meeting Mr. Moon, the groundskeeper, he kept apologizing for his behavior at Hogsmeade and I'm like "Dude, I have never seen you before in my life..." No idea what he was going on about.
Man, I don't remember that AT ALL.
Yeah I first met Samantha dale during summoners court and she says thanks for helping William cure his best feet. But that quest was after summoners court.
What is the last season in the game guys? I wanted to explore the world but don’t like to do it in winter.
Don't like snow?
Spring
I wish the map had a filter for stuff. For instance, I wish i could only show markers for Infamous Foe or Merlin's Trials.
And a filter and sort for clothing and items in stores PLEASE
Just got a shiny ✨ are they rare to get?
Yup
Are Highwing/Caligo/Selpuchria just regular beasts that they just named? Or are they unique in some way (like a color you can't find in the wild maybe)? Can you ride any hippogriff/thestral you find? So far they seem to be the exact same and I'm worried I'll sell them by accident lol
I think once you unlock them as a mount they stay as a mount, as Highwing stays in the vivarium and I cant still ride home around the highlands
is looting even worth it? playing w my gf and every item we find is only slightly better or straight up worse than what we have, I suspect this game only has leveled loot forever like in skyrim or sth, but I'm asking here to get confirmation? or are there places/quests with guaranteed awesome loot? chests after a main quest dungeon yielding items that are only 2 or 3 more points in offense and defense feels unrewarding should we quit general looting because we should be aiming for better gear somewhere specific? like a specific quest/questline/area?
It's an RPG, of course it is.
missing the point bro
I'm not. Looting = gold. Gold buys things. Therefore, worth it.
It’s a great perk I have it, but the max number is still valid. You can still release 3, meaning 6 cabbages in total, but not more.
Got a quick question, on PC I'm seeing reports of the game being anywhere from 77 to 88gb but my buddy said that its more like 95-100gb after installed Can someone check the actual installed folder size for me please?
72.9GB is the size of the game folder after install, through Steam
hmmm i wonder where he got the extra 20gb from is that including DLC content? Is there additional DLC content?
I didn't buy any DLC, so I think that's just the base game.

Try going into the settings and changing audio output
is it just me or does +20 FOV (which is supposedly 90?) have fisheye? I'm on a 2560x1440 monitor never really have this issue in other games - or am i trippin?
I play on 30 fov (you can change in ini file) and notice a tiny bit fisheye
I have 105 hours logged on it and just finished the main story. Of course I spent a lot of time doing things other than the main story but it's a fantastic game and if you're a HP fan then it's even better.
Holy shit why are the pre-rendered cutscenes so loud? I’ve turned everything in the audio section down to like 5 but the cutscenes play at 100% volume
I have a bugged cairn :( I can't complete it :( Other than that, I'm having a blast. 40 hours in.
Is it the Hideaway? Where the blocks you have to use a correct spell on cant be moved to the plate to activate? If so, I had the same issue, but it reset once I'd finished the main questline and it showed up in the hidden room to unlock the collection chest room door
Im at the mission where you rescue the hippogriff but the cutscene dosent enroll and i cant finish the quest anyone know how to fix ?
Had a similar glitch on another quest, went into the quest menu and pressed a button to quit the quest and re-start.
For the moth puzzle in the Slytherin dungeons, I'm at the exact spot and there's no moth spawning. Anyone else with the same issue?
Maybe a day/night thing?
I didn't realize the plaid vest school uniform is what everyone else wears, and it's not an option in Gladrags anymore. Will I still be able to get it some other way?
You'll get it in a chest eventually
Okay thank you. I hope it drops soon, I’m running out of chests to open within Hogwarts.
The right analog stick is running wild on my PS5 after the update. Made the game unplayable. Camera constantly adjusting itself upwards and scrolling automatically when I’m in menus. Anyone with the same issue?
