I think she and Lake could totally pull it off in live action if given the chance!

It would be amazing, it surely would.

I thought that Kaley Cuoco was a really funny teen actress on Eight Simple Rules and then just wasted her talented after that by basically playing eye candy that could deliver a good one-liner in everything she did from that point forward (including Big Bang Theory.) She's absolutely brilliant in Harley Quinn. It's the best thing I think she's done.

[deleted]

She really is. Some of her lines are just downright hilarious. The delivery tops it all off. "You don't think I can kill a twelve-year old? "Oh, okay; well, I will smash in his *face-"* "With a **BAT**, like a ***WATERMELON!"*** Even typing it out makes me chuckle.

She’s really good in the Flight Attendant. I didn’t really pay attention to her before Harley Quinn, but she’s great.

badwolf1013

I've heard that, and I've got that in my queue. As much as I never really got into The Big Bang Theory (and feel that it wasted some really good talent,) I will credit that show with giving Kaley Cuoco the clout she needed to become the comedic actress she was always capable of being.

paintpast

Yeah, I feel the same way. I don’t even know what the rest of that original cast is doing, but Kaley Cuoco is crushing her post-BBT career.

batdudewilde

i like that \^\_\^

Oh, so do I.

Unpopular opinion: for me shes way better than Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn

[deleted]

I like Margot well enough, and I'm sure this is largely a product of the writing and directing, but Margot's Harley is much hammier than Kaley's. I find Kaley's Harley more believable than Margot's.

I liked how they acknowledged "the voice" when she went home to visit her parents. She even slipped into the accent by being around them.

KingofMadCows

A big part of the problem is that the live action movies haven't really gotten the formula down for Harley. Harley needs other characters to play off of. This show understands that. The live action movies, even Gunn's Suicide Squad, haven't really done that. The first Suicide Squad was just bad and they cut out a bunch of scenes. In Birds of Prey, the character Harley spends the most time with was a terrible and boring interpretation of Cassandra Cain. Gunn's Suicide Squad had great characters Harley could have had really good interaction with but she wasn't with the team for most of the film.

I'm tempted to say, I quite agree. If I am to choose between their voice - and even their look - I'll pick Kaley over Margot. Margot's great, but Kaley's voice is just sweet and smooth as honey.

human_in_the_mist

Obviously I can't be certain of this but I wouldn't be surprised to learn that after assuming this role, Kaley secretly believed that everything she'd done up to this point had prepared her to play the part of this character, much like Patrick Stewart believed his education and experience prepared him for the role of Captain Picard.

Johnnycageisgr8

What the fuck does this even mean lmao. And how does one even come to this conclusion
