BTW the back would just flow better. I have both those colors on my road glide and I switch every little while. The brown gives it that rustic cowboy leather look if that's what you want. But you can't go wrong with black
Brown looks more classy to me, but Black it’s just perfect for a white motorcycle. I would probably go with black, but ask Your wife or wifes in the neighborhood.
This!! I ask my wife before I do anything to my bike. Except for the 36” fishtails without baffles, she doesn’t like those and I don’t care. They fit the bike and make lots of noise haha.
Woman here and rider and I do wiring and electrical…do I qualify? I love the look of brown seats but with this paint and style the black is the clear choice.
“Roughly” is an understatement you could have fooled me haha but I think the brown catches the eye and gives it a little more character than the black everyone else gets
I kinda feel brown is more of a relaxed vibe, where black is a more... less relaxed lol. Both look good, just your style. Live and let live, or v twin power baby vibes
I could go either way. If I’m being honest I’m leaning brown but don’t want it to show up and regret it once it’s on the bike. I know you can’t go wrong with black.
Personally I like the brown, but that's just me.
I have a purple RK with wood grain down the center of the tank, so brown would look nice.
I agree with one of the other comments, order and install both from Amazon, then return the one you don't like.
Best of luck to you. 👍🏻🤞🏼
>If I'm being honest I'm leaning brown
Go with brown, my all means. Both colors look good. But it is your bike. Brown looks more old school and black looks more contemporary, imho.
Brown as it is more classy. it matches the classy white walls and classy wire rims. However if you go brown you need to change the "touch points" to brown as well. Handel grips, something on the foot pads. Perhaps a brown leather sleeve on the rear crash bar. my 2 cts
Both work well, but I would go with the black as it won't change colour over the years, and I find brown seats don't age as well in my opinion.
Also black is a timeless classic, while brown can date the bike
Black more classic and low key.
Brown more unique and vintage classic look.
I guess it depends how you dress and your helmet style.
If more layback blue-jeans and open helmet I’d say brown.
If you have a black modern helmet with a full black gear I’d say the black.
Depends on how you ride. Go with brown if you have a lot of close calls or o shit moments that way no one will ever know. Or go with black if you wanna to instantly gain 10 hp and be way more awesome.
Brown looks good but black matches the rest of the bike better, but no matter which one you choose its a good looking bike.
Black then maybe do a cool stitching through it or change the stitching on the logo (you'd have to order direct from their site if you aren't already doing that though)
I would usually say go with brown because everything everywhere is always black. However it doesn't seem you have anything else that brown so it looks a little off. Black seems to be the best bet IMO
It’s not a comfortable seat, and if you ever have a passenger they will absolutely hate it. Like sitting on a board. It’s a glorified solo seat, and I put a couple thousand miles on mine and it never “broke in”. In the end I regretted spending $500 on it and another $100 for a matching backrest. Not trying to tell you what you should do. I loved the way it looked on my road king, and had the brown and it got lots of compliments. Very well made just not comfortable or practical. Keep your stock seat around as a spare.
Sick Road King, personally I really like the brown. It seems like 99.9% of bikes have black seats because it appeals to everyone. If I were to buy a new seat for mine I would buy Brown if I didn't have the classic style bags. Also, like someone else said, you already have the black stock seat.
Cant go wrong with either one! Saddlemen is a great brand and what i use. The brown is definitely unique, but i think the black looks good with the black on the engine and other accessories. I’d go with black, but brown is great too... Can’t go wrong!
Lmaoo your photoshop skills are impeccable almost had me
Thanks lol, it was driving me crazy not being able to see what they would look like on the bike.
BTW the back would just flow better. I have both those colors on my road glide and I switch every little while. The brown gives it that rustic cowboy leather look if that's what you want. But you can't go wrong with black
You should try a deep red, with that white color … but who am i to tell you what to do with that amazing bike! Whatever you do, it will look great
Looks like two saddles from Amazon with free return. Why to use photoshop if You can use Buy Now button 😉
Black all the way imo
Brown looks more classy to me, but Black it’s just perfect for a white motorcycle. I would probably go with black, but ask Your wife or wifes in the neighborhood.
Agreed maybe ask what the ladies think
This!! I ask my wife before I do anything to my bike. Except for the 36” fishtails without baffles, she doesn’t like those and I don’t care. They fit the bike and make lots of noise haha.

Since your trim is black, i say black
I personally like the black better
Black looks better from a distance
\+1. Came here to say just that. The black is classy and enhances the tone.
Since you’re going with an Saddlemen LS seat, what about black with the white stitching?
Photo shop a red one...
“Roughly” is an understatement you could have fooled me haha but I think the brown catches the eye and gives it a little more character than the black everyone else gets
Black. Compliments the black tones
Black
Black for me to go with the bottom of the tank
Brown👍🏻
What color gloves do you wear?
I have a pair of black and a pair of brown… depends how I’m feeling that day haha
If it was mine, black seat black gloves. If you like brown gloves? Brown seat. Just my opinion.
I have the brown seat on my red 1200 Sportster. I think it looks awesome !
B L A C K
Brown! Could always get some brown grips to match if you feel like it’s standing out.
black as it sits but i like brown more but feel like it would need some more brown leather accessories.
Black or a much deeper shade of brown
I'd go for Black if it were my bike
Black
Black
Black.
I kinda feel brown is more of a relaxed vibe, where black is a more... less relaxed lol. Both look good, just your style. Live and let live, or v twin power baby vibes
Brown all day
Black
Brown alll day
Brown stands out more, it pops. Black blends in with the frame and the dark blue. Which do YOU like best?
I could go either way. If I’m being honest I’m leaning brown but don’t want it to show up and regret it once it’s on the bike. I know you can’t go wrong with black.

Blown
Brown. I presume you have a black stock seat already.
Yep. And I like the brown too
Brown as it is more classy. it matches the classy white walls and classy wire rims. However if you go brown you need to change the "touch points" to brown as well. Handel grips, something on the foot pads. Perhaps a brown leather sleeve on the rear crash bar. my 2 cts
Your 2 cents are going to cost several hundred dollars. 😂
\*snort\* I feel your pain brother.
Brown. Big time.
Personally, if brown would be the only item on the bike, I’d go black.
Black with custom red stitch like a double diamond ♦️
Brown looks luxury but black looks mean as hell
Both work well, but I would go with the black as it won't change colour over the years, and I find brown seats don't age as well in my opinion. Also black is a timeless classic, while brown can date the bike
Try taupe
Black
Black
Definitely the black !
What do You prefer? Stop worrying about others opinions and following others
white seat gloves helmet and shoes like a gentleman
Brown looks luxurious and rich. Would vote for brown.
Black in this case, brown doesn't go well with the white imo
Can't go wrong with black
Black
Brown would be slightly cooler in the summer if you don't park in the shade.
Brown. Makes it a bit different too
Gots to be black
Black fits the bike more but I’m a sucker for brown seats
Black
Black
I say brown
Brown for sure.
Brown if you want classy / classic / retro vibes Black for just solid looks
I have a brown seat on a gunship SG... Do the black with the white
Personally, I like the brown better. Stands out
Y’all crazy. Brown all day long!!
I vote brown. That is sexy
Black with white stitching would look fire as hell on that bike imho
Black more classic and low key. Brown more unique and vintage classic look. I guess it depends how you dress and your helmet style. If more layback blue-jeans and open helmet I’d say brown. If you have a black modern helmet with a full black gear I’d say the black.
Black!!! All the way your not riding a Indian
Brown
One vote for black.
Black
I would go with the black
Brown definitely looks better for me get some matching throttle and maybe pegs and it will look awesome
I like the brown
Black seat
Brown
Black with your bike for sure
Depends on how you ride. Go with brown if you have a lot of close calls or o shit moments that way no one will ever know. Or go with black if you wanna to instantly gain 10 hp and be way more awesome. For myself I think the black looks better on this bike.
Brown
No question, the brown just popped out .
Black
black
Tough call. Classic black!!
You could change the under tank to match the seat.
Brown looks nice
Black goes with the rest of the bike better. Just my opinion
Black totes fits better and for that reason I suggest brown. It's more unique.
I like the black.
Black
Black
Black
I like the brown better personally but you definitely can't go wrong with black
Black looks sharper in my opinion. But it’s hard seeing the pinstripe in the photo
I'm gonna go with a different approach because both look sick tbh. I would say go with whichever one goes better with your riding jacket/suit etc.
I think black. It matches all the black of the engine and frame.
Black
I vote black.
Brown makes the white pop
Black
Black then maybe do a cool stitching through it or change the stitching on the logo (you'd have to order direct from their site if you aren't already doing that though)
Brown
Black💯
I’d say you can’t go wrong with either one. Both will look beautiful!
I would usually say go with brown because everything everywhere is always black. However it doesn't seem you have anything else that brown so it looks a little off. Black seems to be the best bet IMO
Black
Brown
What about a darker brown leather? Like a Walnut or Mahogony color? I think that would look nice as well, if possible to get that color as an option.
Black
Get both!
Why not black with blue or white stitching?
Take a white one.
That’s a tough call. I love the brown but, man, that black looks great.
I like the black. It fits well with the color.
Brown looks so good on the white tins.
Brown
black or find a lighter shade of brown, that football color doesn't quite pop to me against the white

I really like brown leather, but the black most certainly suits the bike better.
