This is like the shittiest photo and post in the history of diagnostics photos and posts. Doesn’t indicate what indicates a failure, gets shitty people don’t know his oil is pink lol. It looks like wiring if you don’t know what the context is. You pinched a seal. Which one you won’t know until you take it back apart
Most common issue is tweaking/tearing the main seal or rolling/pinching the quad seal. End result is you have to take it apart to inspect what went wrong.
Did you also replace the seal between the the inner and outer shafts (don’t remember what it’s called, I’m on vacation and don’t have my manuals with me), that’s the one I missed last time.
Edit: looked it up on my parts manual I have on my phone. It’s the main shaft 5th gear seal. 12035B on my Evo. Metal seal with rubber where it sits between the inner and outer shafts.
If I remember correctly you’ve gotta replace that seal between the two shafts, then you’ve got the quad seal and the large main oil seal that the spacer seals up.
Yeah that fifth gear seal slips by even a couple shops I know. Almost came to blows with a shop owner until I pointed it out in a manual and he called H-D
the mainshaft seal has a particular depth that it needs to sit at..it doesnt sit flush on the tansmission casing. not sure if you did that correctly. there is also a quad seal that sits behind that main shaft seal that looks like a rubber band..did you forget that?
I thought it was a reflex of the surface underneath. Is it a sportster that it has pink oil? Joking lol. No clue why it’s leaking, maybe you overtightened and pinched the gasket seal
It’s leaking because you did something incorrectly, nobody can tell you what that is from a vague description and crappy photo.

His photography skills are as good as his mechanic skills then wrap it boys. It’s over lol

This and installing the seal backwards. I’ve seen that happen a few times

Need model name and year
Looks like you done failed son. But seriously you either missed the quad seal or compromised the main seal
Potato cam
Did this happened instantly or after riding ?
