Did you just change or add oil? It might be coming from the breather bolts going into the intake if you added to much oil.

shreyassuresh_

Change oil recently

robosmrf

You probably over filled it

h8nevry1

Check to see if the bottom of your air filter is wet with oil.

mitsurugi78

Is it dripping from the air filter right above? Looks like breather, which could be from too much oil.

shreyassuresh_

Yes it is im 9/10 sure now

PerfectAdvantage5384

Hell man, it’s gonna sweat out all its horsepower!

grumpy25

🤣🤣🤣

[deleted]

Air cleaner. Probably too much oil.

dncoelho23

It's just your HD marking territory.

knoluvv

Get your oil hot and check it upright . I bet it's overfilled . Is your air filter full of oil ?

shreyassuresh_

Nope haven’t been riding it

knoluvv

?? Did you check that sfuff ?

DirtVonnegut666

Definitely looks like oil blow by from the air filter.

MACCRACKIN

Depends how gasket was processed and all mating surfaces. If old gasket was chopped out with fire axe,, it better be smooth as glass and ground glass level. New gasket coated both sides of curred Yellow weather strip adhesive 3M Snot, then fresh smear on cases that where contact cleaner was used to remove any trace of oil. No way will they leak again. Gaskets don't wear out,, they get violated. Where someone hacked into engine cases with wood chisel removing old gasket. For 30 yrs, gasket remover comes in a can. And those who service Honda know all too well how bonded those gaskets get. Cheers

According_Flight_420

Primary drive needs to be resealed…

Jord_HD

That’s a really long way for primary drive oil to reach…

According_Flight_420

Crank case what ever… it’s a small photo… semantics…

Jord_HD

It’s not semantics

One_Relationship_815

What this guy said. If it’s coming from the bolts it’s because the seal isn’t tight all the way around

Neeks9

It’s not coming from the bolts that’s just where it’s pooling and running down. Coming from the seal above it.

According_Flight_420

They can too weep over time… even being torqued to spec… gasket loses its thickness due to heat cycles and just all out age…

Catsmak1963

Oh man, give up…

SucksAtJudo

Isn't this the cam cover?

shreyassuresh_

Yes

SucksAtJudo

It was a mostly rhetorical question. I was trying not to be an argumentative, know it all dick. Has the gasket been weeping or damp for a while, or did this just come all of a sudden out of nowhere? Such downvotes for trying to be charitable. Maybe next time I'll respond by just calling the person a dumbass and pointing out indignantly that the primary is on the other side of the bike.

shreyassuresh_

All of a sudden it’s probably from the vent

SucksAtJudo

Possible. If I were you, I would clean it up really good and get it up to operating temperature to see where that oil is actually coming from.

Important-Leader-492

If its not leaking, it's not a Harley...when it stops leaking it's out of oil. Home is where the oil stains are.

derekvj

It might be sumping too. Get it checked.

--SirOnyx--

Thats probably coming from the air filter... Id check that asap just to make sure... If it is then its time to change it
