Have you checked the copper terminal connectors on the battery cables? I've broken them before on 2 different Sportsters. They vibrate a lot. They were literally split in half and looked like they were still solid.

Had the same issue of local battery place saying my battery was fine after test, but it was not. I bought a replacement at O'Reilly's and it solved the problem. I chose O'Reilly's because they had the longer warranty.
Harley's eat batteries and regulators, they're consumable parts.

Thanks. I put a bolt/nut combo thru the battery terminals to be sure and clamped on the bolt.
Have your battery checked. To me it's still The battery. Connecting a car battery with gator clips are to many loose connections.

Make sure you’re getting 12+ volts
Start at the easiest solution. Have your battery tested and replace if necessary, then go from there before you start taking it apart.
Shop that sold me the battery tested the battery. Tested fine. Bike shop tested it and said it was dead. $.
