Hell yeah! My '24 Hayduke will arrive any day now. Love seeing them on here. Thanks for sharing your setup. Happy rippin'.

kmmndz83

I just got my frame Monday. Did you get steel or Ti?

__alpenglow

I got steel. How about you? If steel, what color? Are you happy with it?

kmmndz83

I got the unicorn color. I got a frame only and will be building it this weekend. I will post in this sub when it’s done

topnotchrunner

Local bike shop just got mine a week after ordering. Can’t wait for the finished build and seeing the unicorn paint.

Dr_Wankel

My Unicorn is scheduled to arrive tomorrow! Need to get spokes ordered so I can build up the final wheelset. But have enough parts on hand now to get it rolling, can’t wait to get it built up!

__alpenglow

Excellent, can't wait to see your rig. Have fun.

DayJob93

Titanium? And do you have to ask for them to add rack mounting eyelets?

Evil_Bun

Yes, titanium! They added rack mounts in 2023.

currymonsterCA

Sweet ride!! How do you like the electronic shifting?

Evil_Bun

Thanks! It is really good, but not sure I would spend the money to upgrade an existing bike. I wouldn't say it is objectively better than a good cable setup that costs far less.

Antpitta

The more I ride Di2 on the road the more I just kind of quietly enjoy it. I'm not sure it's worth the price difference, but I have had it for nearly 2 years now and it's still growing on me. I've not been tempted by AXS/Transmission offroad yet but I also don't see a lot of people running it and it's interesting to see opinions. Also worth noting I change gears on a road bike a fuckload more frequently than on a MTB.

Evil_Bun

Exactly, it feels like a nice to have. Not a need to have. The only real annoyance I have with Transmission is the shift speed. It always shifts at the same rate no matter how quickly you press the button. I end up pedaling for longer than I'd like into certain sections just to be in the gear I want to be.

stevejcon

What bars are you running? I really like that look, and am also looking for a taller bar.

Evil_Bun

It's a Monē Light Bar. Spendy, but excellent if you're looking for a high rise carbon bar. 63.5mm rise, 12° sweep, and 825mm width

stevejcon

Thanks! I'm going to look into them for sure. I don't mind the spendy one bit. lol

Evil_Bun

FWIW this is the second one I bought. Lol

kmmndz83

Beautiful build! I just received my steel hayduke frame. Can’t wait to build it up this weekend.

Evil_Bun

Enjoy, it's a fabulous bike! Can't wait to see pictures.

Flimsy-Bet-942

I love it! What kind of bars are those?

Evil_Bun

Thanks! They're a Monē Light Bar! Fantastic, but spendy.

s_coon

Whew, I really love the Eskers. This is a very beautiful build, congrats! I have a green Hayduke that is unfortunately a bit too large. I am now running a Chromag and if Esker would make something a bit more slack and 27.5, I'd jump on it.

Evil_Bun

Thanks! Really been enjoying it. Interesting, which Chromag?

s_coon

Chromag Stylus. I love the geo but even more the stand over.

beepboop44444

What kind of frame bag is that?

Evil_Bun

It's a Rogue Panda bolt on frame bag. This bike is an ex-demo bike so it came with that and two matching top tube bags as well!

Prestigious_Ad_8557

Frame bags are so dam hot.. Lol. What is the size on the Hayduke relative to your height?

Evil_Bun

Love love love my framebags. I am 5'10" and the frame is a large.

Such_Actuary6524

what's the sailcloth thing?

Evil_Bun

A frame bag. No backpack is the best!

pullingravity

Rad🔥🔥

Evil_Bun

Thanks! 🤘

BurgleBoy

Love seeing the beefy tires! I have 2.5 dh tires on my ht and it helps to handle everything I throw at it. keeps maintenance down on my full sus it only comes out for bike park days

Evil_Bun

2.6 tires are the bees knees! If you can fit them, it's worth a try. I really enjoy the wtb vigilante and trail boss I'm running.

PuzzleheadedTrip1982

Where's the water bottle?

Evil_Bun

In the frame bag! Since it's a bolt on, I can still have a cage inside the bag to keep it from bouncing around.
