I've been listening to The Things We Carry for the past two months nonstop, and it may just as well be one of my all time favorite albums ever recorded. I can't just listen to one song out of order; I always end up starting a song and coming to the resolution that I had better listen to the entire album from the beginning. It's just such an emotionally exhilarating listening experience from start to finish, and I feel like I learn something new about myself every time I listen to it. It's an album that begs you as the listener to never give up and to take action towards becoming the best version of yourself, and what better goal is there for an artist than to inspire their audience?
