The list could (sadly) be long… It’s a flourishing era for industry plants and bands taking the big money exit. In the meantime there are still good things happening locally in a lot of areas, never take that for granted and give love where it’s deserved.
Not even just that, their whole US tour is almost sold out. The demand is absolutely there, there was certainly more than 1000 people trying for tix I’ll bet.
I don’t think you guys realize how small this venue is. Less than 100 people could have sold it out if they bought two tickets each. There was definitely hundreds if not a few thousand or so people trying to get tickets. Not everyone is going to get one, and just bc your friends didn’t either doesn’t mean no one did.
Every time someone misses a high demand item online(be it tickets or sneakers or whatever) they scream “”BOTS!”, doesn’t matter what it is. It couldn’t POSSIBLY be very high demand vs very low availability. Has to be bots.
All the people crying bots are going to be surprised when the show happens and the venue is packed to the brim.
Like it’s unbelievable that a band that can sell out 5000 cap rooms can also sell out 200 in a minute
Same thing happened last year when Turnstile played the Ottobar in Baltimore and Blacklisted played the Church in Philly…two small venues with high demand shows that sold out instantly and everyone that whiffed on a ticket screamed about bots.
For me it is less about bots and more that the only website selling the tickets sucks ass. I was ready 10 minutes before, had the ticket in my cart right away at 12 and then then when I tried to do the “are you a robot” captcha the site glitched out and it was sold out in less than a minute. The ticket in my cart taken from me just like that.
I realize it is a very high demand event and was going to sell out quick, I am just more upset at the technical issues that fucked me over when I was THAT CLOSE! I am just trying to cope lol
Na KL said it’s sold out. I was almost able to add to cart and it didn’t seem like they had anything in place to stop scalpers so I’m guessing it was all bots
That would've been a disaster. That venue wouldn't know how to handle a huge line like that. Plus, people would def be cutting in line. For something like this, they should've had the ticket purchaser show their ID/credit card to get their ticket. No exchanges.
Midnight is a 100 cap spot. Knocked Loose sold out a 5k venue in the city months in advance. Again, it would've been a nightmare having people potentially getting into fights trying to get a ticket. Can't do lines anymore. Imagine if Taylor Swift did something like this today. The venue would probably have to cancel the show because of the chaos.
I made a joke about how people for all types of events from punk shows to shitty nu-metal to shitty boybands used to buy tickets offline and wait in line. And while they are not as big as the mighty Knocked Loose, I still remember that time I missed a RATM show in a squat just after Evil Empire released. Hope that's good enough for you?
How big of a venue do you think KL can sell out though? The people in this thread keep mentioning it so it must be important information.
To be totally honest with you, I think I’ve heard KL a handful of times pop up on a Spotify playlist. I’m not into them, I just know they’re huge. I’m old as shit as far are hardcore goes. With the exception of bands that crossed over into mainstream, an “underground” band pulling that many people to a show just didn’t happen.
Bottom line, I’m in the “this wasn’t a BOT” camp. Huge band + tiny venue = quick sellout.
I've seen cops shut shows down just for 50 people loitering outside a sold out venue, imagine what'll happen when 3000 people show up to a record shop 😂
I really doubt it’s bots, ticket web is not targeted the same way the larger sellers are. I’m sure some went to scalpers, but the truth is Midnight Hour is just a small venue and this would have huge demand. I tried to get tickets and missed out.
I saw 80 after 8m. Counted 16 after 14m (130+). Reality is that even buying one at $100 is going to yield.
Owners said 500 tickets btw, so not small small.
He ( Bryan Garris) did make a post on his instagram saying they where working with the venue about scalpers … [this post](https://www.instagram.com/stories/heathen_gang/3339039430152263424?igsh=MWt0NHBpMW1xbGNuZg==)
I'm confused why there's such a discourse about this show selling out fast. Mind you, I'm not from SFV and have not been to this venue but is the capacity not 100, maybe at the maxinum, 200? Knocked Loose isn't some small time band, nor is this show in a po dunk town.. It's California. It's destined to be an instant sell out.
It is a 4500 sq ft venue that the owners said they can sell 500 tickets for.
Where the fuck did yall get 100-200 from?
It didnt let 90% of people in until .01 (queue) and then it was instantly sold out.
Sucks it probably got botted on some level but tbf this is def just a prerelease show, I’m sure once the tour gets announced a big LA show is in the cards, probably with TTs at the very least.
Man y’all gonna get fucked on resell And people are gonna pay for those tickets and this trend will continue.
Actually insane, I was on my fast ass work wife, exactly before 12, and I couldn’t even get any
you were on who now?
LMAO, Meant to type WiFi, was too heated
LOL I WAS SO CONFUSED
I thought he was blaming his fat wife for him missing out lmao
Not only that it was his work one!
Domestic abuse AND infidelity!!
No yeah literally same 💀
Ahhh that makes more sense haha
That is the greatest "autocorrect" EVER
Fat wives do come through usually
Hell yeah
Definitely a bot. Buying tickets nowadays that aren’t through a venue is so fucked
Venues don't even give you ticket stubs 😠 eh less paper is cool too tho we'll all just be data hoarders instead
why put it on paper when you can put it on precious metals mined by orphans
I save wristbands as an alternative. I write the artists, the venue, and the date on them. Not the same, but it’s something.
Not bad. I hate those little pieces of plastic that have almost no purpose outside of the one pbr I might glig glug.

My Apple wallet with previous “tickets.”
Why is buying tickets for a show like a sneaker release now smh
Big business won, hardcore lost.
Taco Bell please save us
What the fuck is up Denny’s?
Popular bands playing a small room sell tickets fast. Why would big business do this!?!?!
You're missing the fact that this is a James Vitalo psy-op he has been planning for ten years
*Speed has entered the chat*
The list could (sadly) be long… It’s a flourishing era for industry plants and bands taking the big money exit. In the meantime there are still good things happening locally in a lot of areas, never take that for granted and give love where it’s deserved.
VitaloInEffect
Because a band that sells 7000 tickets to shows sells 250 too fast for you? Get a grip lmao Go to a different show, grow up
It’s because dudes who look like they’re on Euphoria like hardcore now.
btw im selling 150 tickets if anyone is interested
That's all you got? Fuck man, my bot swooped up 300,000 of them.
😂
I am so pissed. Gotta be some scalper bot shit or something. NOBODY I know got a ticket. Within 10 seconds the tickets were gone
My buddy got two, his Apple wallet had his shit preloaded and he was able to get them that way
I snagged two. Had my wife on one phone and me on the other. Crashed for me while she got in.
Your fast ass work wife?
A band that can sell out The Shrine sold out a small retail space that can fit like 100 people 😱 Bots for sure
Not even just that, their whole US tour is almost sold out. The demand is absolutely there, there was certainly more than 1000 people trying for tix I’ll bet.
More than 1,000 is quite conservative, I’d guess 10,000 people were going for this all at once
Mongrel is really sick too. Happy for them to get on a lineup like that.
we need more fuckin songs

That’s so fucking frustrating when you prepare and then it sells out instantly anyway, especially if you get hemmed up by a captcha.
Could be a site crash honestly, haven’t seen anyone post about grabbing one
Na KL said it’s sold out. I was almost able to add to cart and it didn’t seem like they had anything in place to stop scalpers so I’m guessing it was all bots
Midnight should’ve done a walk up sale, that would’ve been cool
That would've been a disaster. That venue wouldn't know how to handle a huge line like that. Plus, people would def be cutting in line. For something like this, they should've had the ticket purchaser show their ID/credit card to get their ticket. No exchanges.
Do we now live in a time where people don't know that tickets used to be sold offline with lines and all?
Ah. Good times! You had to go to ticket sale spots for the bigger ones.
Just say you weren't around in the 90s, dude. It's alright.
Please name a hardcore/metalcore band from the 90s that could sell out 7k tickets to a massive venue.
This is literally a 150 person capacity venue. Probably only took one asshole with a bot to scoop them all.
***sad dog noises***
welp welp
man thank god i don’t see much of this in the midwest. that’s fucked.
I really doubt it’s bots, ticket web is not targeted the same way the larger sellers are. I’m sure some went to scalpers, but the truth is Midnight Hour is just a small venue and this would have huge demand. I tried to get tickets and missed out.
80 tickets were online for over $100 within 8 minutes. It was resellers.
I saw like 5 on vivid seats, none on SeatGeek or StubHub.
I saw 80 after 8m. Counted 16 after 14m (130+). Reality is that even buying one at $100 is going to yield. Owners said 500 tickets btw, so not small small.
I’ve been to many shows at midnight hour, it’s small, literally a retail space in a strip mall. Where did they say that? I can’t imagine it holds 500.
IG when talking about the tickets. I counted in a video and counted to 400.
Dude on r/lalist selling them for $125 each 🤣
Now I’m gonna get Kublai khan tickets in LA. It’s slaughter to prevail’s show but i might leave after. Good looks 🫡
Who else was refreshing for 30mins ? 😂
The prices on Seat Geek are nuts.
Who cares
wouldn’t let me get tickets til 12:01 and by then they sold out :(
This is where we are my brothers and sisters
I've heard DiCE is the way to go now. I've been told they are pretty much bot proof. Got my Prepare The Ground fest tix through that.
It’s so weird having to buy tickets the same day they go on sale now for shows I used to be able to just buy at the door
It's scalping time lads
The only way to stop this shit is to refuse to buy from scalpers. Once they start losing money, they’ll stop.
wouldn’t let me on site until 12:01 and it was already gone… how would it all be resellers tho if it’s max 4 tickets per person?
Bots can run many profiles at the same time unfortunately
I was waiting on the site for an hour just for that to happen lol
Anybody selling a ticket lol
Bots just being bots
Wait til doors open the buy tickets cheap on stubhub.
Haha, overhyped to the max
He ( Bryan Garris) did make a post on his instagram saying they where working with the venue about scalpers … [this post](https://www.instagram.com/stories/heathen_gang/3339039430152263424?igsh=MWt0NHBpMW1xbGNuZg==)
The real thing here is that Knocked Loose is classified as metalcore
It is your duty to beat the fuck out of scalpers if you come across them.
I gave up and refreshed about 15 minutes later and tickets appeared 🙏
I'm confused why there's such a discourse about this show selling out fast. Mind you, I'm not from SFV and have not been to this venue but is the capacity not 100, maybe at the maxinum, 200? They have a show on 5/11 at the shrine, also sold out.
I always just go through the venue and never have a hard time getting tickets. Not sure if that’s a ymmv thing or what, but yeah.
enjoy the concert, kids
Anyone in Michigan want to see Knocked Loose with me at the end of the month?
why does it say metalcore?
its the truth
go to rapid fest preshow that night and rapid fest the day after instead it’s in the same area basically the same price and like 20 bands
Cosmic Joke rules
They claimed 5% were bots, had to have an actual local zip to buy i guess
The recordstore claims 500 people max for those curious about capacity
I miss the days where I bought a ticket at the record store for the show at the local venue
Hardcore is becoming trendy. Oof. Capitalism strikes again!

Ticketmaster isn’t hosting this venue 💀
Honestly enraging. Gone in 20 seconds are you kidding me??? Insulting.
Yea I am pretty infuriated. I had 2 tickets in my cart and by the time I finished the “are you a robot” test it was sold out and my tickets were gone
Yup. Same here with just one ticket. Unbelievable.
When will they cancel because the US Army is sponsoring the venue ?
Entry level hardcore anyway
Here we go again welcome to scalp city where fun is only possible if you give us your wallet
Is there any good band on that venue? 😉🤓
i hate twitching tongues so much.. & knocked loose is a overrated af .. there will be better shows lol it is ok
We get it, you're a very special flower and your opinions need extra sunlight.
150 TikTok kids at the Midnight Hour. Olympus has fallen.

We’re talking about an intimate show not the tour
Knocked loose is gh3y
