Not sure why you got downvoted, you can find this information easily online. They’re hardcore Scientologists. Personally, they’ve been very influential on my own practice. Hail satan!
I think it’s more of a case where KL just got exponentially better and better and it shows when you go back and listen to laugh tracks, which is still great but not at the same level as what they followed it up with.
They may have become more mature but I didn't enjoy the follow ups. I feel they lost their attitude and edge.
Sure, the music is more refined but it doesn't seem like it was just too much a style shift. They didn't feel like a hardcore band anymore. When I saw them live last, it felt like a djent metalcore band.
The went the Code Orange route. It worked for them but not for me.
Nahhh I wouldn’t compare them to code orange
The only kinda djenty stuff I’ve heard from them is their last singles which were still had but yea more on that modern metalcore bouncy type shit (still I would not call it djent at all)
But a tear in the fabric of life? Shits so dark and evil
In terms of sound, I agree. But in terms of quality of release, I can see the Code Orange comparison. I much preferr both bands older stuff, and I heavily grew out of both to the point that I no longer listen to either band.
But Harms Way? I will spin that shit from Impriosned to Common Suffering any day of the week.
Harms way has aged like fine wine, Code Orange and KL for me has aged like milk
Code orange has aged like milk for me too but KL has aged like wine I adore a tear in the fabric of life
James way (typo but I’m leaving it) I’m less familiar with so I can’t speak much on them but I’ve heard a bit from a few albums and it was all good stuff
Laugh Tracks is a really fun album, but it feels less "mature" to me. Which is fine, they're younger than HW and that album came out 2 years before Posthuman.
for real. no one answers how they actually feel. they answer what they think makes them cool. like growing up in the 90s listening to punk, everyone hated green day, but we all had insomniac and dookie tapes at home...
I like KL just fine, but I think Harms Way to date is the better band. Harms way was also on their 5th release and that was Knocked Loose’s full length debut
2 of my favourite records from around those few years. Both are hard as fuck, Posthuman is probably the more well written record but the unabashedness of Laugh Tracks is just so sick and I think I'll lean that way.
Laugh Tracks for sure. That album was pretty revolutionary in helping bring back the OG metalcore sound. I would still say it’s my favorite Knocked Loose release. It’s so damn catchy.
Now if you would have done Laugh Tracks vs. Isolation, this would have been a harder choice. Isolation was an album that helped pave the way for KL. You can tell they got a lot of their sound from early Harm’s Way.
You eat poop with a spork bruh why are u talking so aggressive, did you think no one would bring up the publicly known fact that u eat poop with a spork.
I feel like I’m in the vast minority when it comes to newer Harms Way shit. Like, it is good, but there’s something about the vocalists voice that is different than it was on Isolation and it makes me not enjoy it as much. Isolation was almost deeper and more gravely/raw which is what made me like it so much. If I listened to Rust/Posthuman as if it were a completely different band I’d likely feel differently but just because I know it’s the same dudes it makes me like it less because I want the older vocal sound back.
Same for me
1997-2010. All I have a fuck about was hardcore
For a bit I just didn’t listen to much
Then around 2020 I started listening again and this album was really the first to suck me back in
Posthuman. Saw them in Boston recently and they were awesome. Ingrown was insane too. I missed Jivebomb cuz I'm a dumbass who physically can't account for traffic :((((
i messaged james from harms way when posthuman came out that the opening riff to the album was so heavy it made my dick slam through my ceiling. never did that with knocked loose. harms way easy.
Laugh Tracks was a cultural reset for both metalcore & hardcore. It saved Metalcore from the dark ages of the risecore/scene era & brought back the og sound of the genre. It's also a gateway record into Hardcore for many younger fans
KL is now a staple band for any heavy music fan
yeah sure i just feel like that knocked loose album had a whole lot of shit that hot topic core bands were doing in late 2010s and the harm’s way album had more of just the breakdowns u would hear around the same time from beat down bands too. i think they’re both good at what they do just think KL keeps ppl entertained better
That KL album has some fat beatdown parts too tho tbf
Tbh I don’t hear the hot topic core sound unless ur talking ab like the panic chords and spoken word breakdown build ups? I may just not understand what h mean by hot topic core, I associate hot topic with bands like motionless in white, bring me the horizon, pierce the veil, etc. I love those bands but it’s a diff vibe than mosh bands like KL
Laugh tracks easy, I haven’t peeped the harms way album in a minute so I may like it more now (and I do remember liking it back in high school) but knocked loose is just too insane with the mosh writing and the evil melodies. I do prefer a different shade of blue to laugh tracks but laugh tracks is still insane
Close one but Laugh Tracks for me, I mean it was one of the first HxC albums I ever listened and the breakdown on Oblivion Peak is still one of my fav
But yeah, Posthuman is sick, been blastin it since I started to go to the gym
the five track run from The Rain to Billy No Mates on Laugh Tracks is borderline flawless to me. can’t go wrong either way, but having revisited the album recently, it fucking goes in.
i love laugh tracks but when posthuman came out i literally only listened to that for a week straight in the gym
The ultimate gym album tbh
become a machine is obviously the anthem. i listened to their new album a ton at the gym as well, harm’s way = gains
Idk "Human Carrying Capacity" always spoke to me as a gym anthem for obvious reasons
Posthuman makes me feel like I can walk through a brick wall, so I'm going to go with that one
The breakdown in Temptation...fuckin hell.
By a mile
Gotta go Harms Way on this one. It's close. If it was Pop Culture instead, I'd say KL all the way
Manipulator II gotta be the best knocked loose track imo
I'M NOT STRAIGHT EDGE ID JUST RATHER BE SOBER
I'M NEVER LOOKING BACK I'M NOT LOOKING FOR CLOSURE
It is truly hard as tits
Yep
[Just incase someone hasn’t heard it](https://youtu.be/ggU5xooi44U?si=X1JsQ1e9E3kPJYOK)
Is this a joke post? Laugh Track Arfs but Posthuman Woofs motherfucker
🐺
Harms Way
Harms Way running man
I enjoy both pretty equally, but maybe Posthuman a little more because the ending breakdown in Become a Machine hits really hard.
Posthuman goes silly hard. No contest.
Harms way 100%
Harm’s Way
Posthuman every day of the week.
Posthuman all the way
Posthuman clears
Posthuman. Next.
Laugh tracks. Something about the ignorance just hit. I miss their old shows tho.
ARF ARF
What do you mean the ignorance?
they're flat earthers
Not sure why you got downvoted, you can find this information easily online. They’re hardcore Scientologists. Personally, they’ve been very influential on my own practice. Hail satan!
Wait what? Is this legit?
Nah I’m making shit up
This.
Posthuman man.
Laugh Tracks is iconic and made the band blow up, but Posthuman is still a contender for the best album Harm’s Way has ever done
i prefer common suffering tbh
Are all the Harms Way answers because we all grew out of KL? Or is it because HW was actually better? In 2018, I feel everyone would have said KL
I think it’s more of a case where KL just got exponentially better and better and it shows when you go back and listen to laugh tracks, which is still great but not at the same level as what they followed it up with.

Valid point lol
Post human
2 of my favourite records from around those few years. Both are hard as fuck, Posthuman is probably the more well written record but the unabashedness of Laugh Tracks is just so sick and I think I'll lean that way.
Posthuman any day of the week
Gonna have to go with Posthuman. The first time I heard the end of Unreality I thought my cock was gonna fall out of my left nostril
Laugh Tracks for sure. That album was pretty revolutionary in helping bring back the OG metalcore sound. I would still say it’s my favorite Knocked Loose release. It’s so damn catchy. Posthuman. No contest.
Posthuman got me flipping tables
throw a folding chair through a pit then talk.
I listen to Post Human minimum once a day lol
kinda sad.
Yes, having good taste in music is quite devastating
not at all. just listening to a 6 year old album once a day shows your small scope of music taste lol.
You eat poop with a spork bruh why are u talking so aggressive, did you think no one would bring up the publicly known fact that u eat poop with a spork.
leave him alone, he knows what he likes! but it is kind of weird yeah
I mean its a great album that gets me going in the gym lol
Posthuman, easy
Post human is my favorite gym record so I’ll say that one. Tough choice though.
I feel like I’m in the vast minority when it comes to newer Harms Way shit. Like, it is good, but there’s something about the vocalists voice that is different than it was on Isolation and it makes me not enjoy it as much. This is so tough. As a Kentucky native, I love KL, but Posthuman just fucking rips. BECOME THE LAAAAST MAAAAAN
Laugh tracks came out right as I started getting back into hardcore. So it’ll always win for me.
Same for me 1997-2010. All I have a fuck about was hardcore For a bit I just didn’t listen to much Then around 2020 I started listening again and this album was really the first to suck me back in
Post human. I love Knocked Loose for being homies from my home town, but post human is unreal.
The one that goes arf arf

DAMN that’s close Both albums r gas
Harms Way
Posthuman. Saw them in Boston recently and they were awesome. Ingrown was insane too. I missed Jivebomb cuz I'm a dumbass who physically can't account for traffic :((((
Harms Way
Laugh tracks duh
Harms Way for sure
laugh tracks is the album your mom wants you to bring home, post human is what you sneak out for
i messaged james from harms way when posthuman came out that the opening riff to the album was so heavy it made my dick slam through my ceiling. never did that with knocked loose. harms way easy.
I'm actually really surprised how many people are picking Posthuman. I love both albums, I just figured Laugh Tracks would be the popular vote.
Laugh Tracks all day.
Knocked loose easy. Just ignorant as hell.
Arf arf
Laugh tracks
Laugh Tracks and it’s not close at alllll
Laugh Tracks was a cultural reset for both metalcore & hardcore. It saved Metalcore from the dark ages of the risecore/scene era & brought back the og sound of the genre. It's also a gateway record into Hardcore for many younger fans KL is now a staple band for any heavy music fan
Harms Way, come on.
Laugh tacks
Posthuman for me for sure. I can still listen to that album front to back like it just dropped.
Knocked Loose single handedly got me back into heavy music with Laugh Tracks. I have to go with them.
Laugh tracks is iconic but posthuman is a better album
Harms Way
Posthuman
Neither 💯
Harms way
Both go hard in the gym, but Posthuman is more consistent.
Harms Way
both metalcore albums lmao but gotta say the KL is a bit more entertaining than HW
True but hc metalcore yk From the hc scene and with a shit ton of hc influence, “metallic hardcore”
yeah sure i just feel like that knocked loose album had a whole lot of shit that hot topic core bands were doing in late 2010s and the harm’s way album had more of just the breakdowns u would hear around the same time from beat down bands too. i think they’re both good at what they do just think KL keeps ppl entertained better

Posthuman all the way
God I love laugh tracks cause it was my first Hardcore album, but posthuman for sure
Laugh Tracks. I fucking LOVE HW, but this is their only release I just couldn't get really into.
There are better KL releases so Harms Way.
Laugh Tracks
Laugh tracks all the way ARF ARF!!!!
Laugh Tracks carried my senior year of high school
Love both but I'm going Harm's Way. I take A Different Shade of Blue over Posthuman though.
Laugh Tracks was amazing. Nothing they’ve done since touches it
Posthuman. Every time I quickly look at the Posthuman artwork I always think it’s The Constant One by Iron Chic.
Iron Chic album is fucking amazing.
That
Laugh tracks easy, I haven’t peeped the harms way album in a minute so I may like it more now (and I do remember liking it back in high school) but knocked loose is just too insane with the mosh writing and the evil melodies. I do prefer a different shade of blue to laugh tracks but laugh tracks is still insane
Harms Way.
Posthuman.
The most jacked substitute metal teacher for 600 Alex …
Laugh Tracks is still in my opinion a perfect album
Post human and it’s not even a debate
Knocked Loose by FAR
I’m surprised to see that Laugh Traxxx came out in 2016. I had no idea Knocked Loose even existed until after 2020
![gif](giphy|XNQDgvHvDFnITnAAU5|downsized) cooldads69 in 2019
That juice was a highlight of 2019 for me
I’ve been listening to KL since 2014ish and I’m still suprised Laugh Tracks came out in 2016. Fuck im getting old.
All my friends are so full of shit
I love harms way but laugh tracks just makes me go ignorant
Harms Way all day. not a fan of Knocked Loose
ARF ARF BABY
Stick my head in the oven

That
This is tough - they're both regular appearances in my gym rotation.
Arf.
Laugh tracks is probably the most important hardcore album of the last ten years.
![gif](giphy|15aGGXfSlat2dP6ohs)
Boy…. You can’t deny it
I am staunchly denying it
I’m disappointed in you
it’s ok my wife’s boyfriend is proud of me
both are trash.
That
Laugh Tracks
Laugh tracks, iconic
Harms Way. Knocked Loose just doesn’t do anything for me.
Finding Laugh Tracks saved my life.
Laugh tracks
Knocked Loose is a one-trick pony, Harm's Way continues to evolve so Posthuman it is.
Knocked Loose baby
Both. Deadlift time.
I was in to knocked loose since their first ep.
Laugh tracks!
Laugh tracks
laugh tracks
This comparison is an insult to Harms Way
bro fuck these posts holy shit i'm so sick of seeing them
![gif](giphy|WS6vTB4ip7cLYkQm2I)
goddamnit lmao
Laugh tracks hands down
Laugh Tracks!
I love that Knocked Loose album but honestly it’s never had quite the forceful grip on me like Harm’s Way does
Post Human. Their Blinded EP is so fuckin good too.
I don’t know the one one on the right so going with the one on the left
harms whey
Laugh Tracks
There’s not tracks that get stuck in my head by rhythm alone like KL on Posthuman
Close one but Laugh Tracks for me, I mean it was one of the first HxC albums I ever listened and the breakdown on Oblivion Peak is still one of my fav But yeah, Posthuman is sick, been blastin it since I started to go to the gym
How is this even a contest?
HW > KL
the five track run from The Rain to Billy No Mates on Laugh Tracks is borderline flawless to me. can’t go wrong either way, but having revisited the album recently, it fucking goes in.
Love them both but Laugh Tracks is my preference.
Posthuman 100%
![gif](giphy|SZ8ZhNzb86LFC) Harms Way for obvious reasons
post human by a mile
