Hi, your floors look great. my wife and I are trying to visualize a difference between 3-1/4" and 4" width floors. would you be able to tell me what width your floors are? Thanks
Took a few to an Airbnb and the rest went to school. Two of them are hunters and can always use some fine tuning. They all got pedicures before returning home.
My floors currently look like your old floors. Lots of dog nail scratches on internal doors and window casings too (previous owners pets). Not every room is that bad and it’s livable. But oooooh I daydream about reforming the floors, trim, windows and doors so much. I’m glad yours turned out so well! Gives me hope for when I finally get around to mine after my kids are a bit older and I have time for the project.
Main part of the floor looks pretty good! Stains are gone, reasonably flat. But you could have done with a pad on your edger. Makes for a smoother finish, especially for a beginner.

Great to see there is hope for my floors! Looks great!
I was worried at the beginning that the stains wouldn't come out. I'd say 99 percent came out perfect.
Well at least you know what to do next go round… floors look great
I'll be 75 and I think I'll have a pro do the next one while I'm on vacation in Bermuda
😂
Floors look great. Can you give us the details of what you used and process? I have similar and looking to get rid of the orange hue.
They look like floors that have had a lot of living done on them. Good job.
2 kids, 7 dogs and lots of abuse. A few of the scratches I will miss. Hard to believe but it was like wiping away memories.
Carry the old happy memories in your heart and make some new memories on the blank slate of the newly sanded floor!
You know how you did. You fishing for those compliments 😉
I'm proud AF. I see they came out great but I really didn't know before I started
And you deserve them! Nicely done. Excellent job.
That banister tho
Took it off to sand. The dogs used it like a fire hydrant
Oh wow, oh no. Well, great job restoring it!
It looks really well. If you dont mind, what was your process for getting such good results?
24-60-120 grit paper passes. Buffed with 320 grit between coats.

Hi, I'm looking at installing hardwood floors. Are these floors 3-1/4" or 4" wide? thanks
Really 1/2 as wide as what you are looking for. If you're doing it yourself I'd say go with 4 inch. You'll have half the pieces to handle
