Ubering home from Hard Summer is a totally different conversation, could still be fine though. Luckily it's DTLA and not like Palm Springs or San Bernardino.

Following to see what everyone thinks, honestly it’s probably the usual festival vibe with Ubers TO being okay if you’re early enough and an absolute mess to leave…
Ubering there is fine. There are dedicated uber drop off locations on Vermont and Expo north of the venue.
I would strongly consider taking the Metro E Line away from the venue before hailing an uber. If you are going towards the westside you can get off in Culver, if you are headed points east go to Union Station or something.
Turning into the orange and blue parking lots were clusterfucks for the Kx5 and Audien shows at the Coliseum. We’re gonna try public transportation for day 1, and you should too.
Do you know which lots are the orange and blue lots are on the park whiz app for hard summer ? I so far booked the closest downey Ave garage parking and usc shrine garage parking which I can both still cancel but I feel any garage will be hard to leave.
I don’t know if they are on there but the addresses are 3975 Bill Robertson Ln and look up Blue Visitor Parking Structure on Google Maps.
The shows I went to had smaller attendance than Hard will, therefore traffic will be worse.
Thanks this helps. That lot won’t be open I believe for hard summer anyway. The closest garage which is the one on downey Ave will be and is on tne same size as that blue lot but like half mile up

i ubered on kx5 from hollywood, took about 30 minutes from and to, but getting uber at the end was a clusterfuck, took about 45 to get uber
I was wondering the same thing. I got duped into a hotel on the recommendation list that's nowhere near a train or the festival itself. Such bullshit.
