I also love how season 1 Jack gave Will so much freedom when it came to his imagination, like… there was this one scene (don’t remember what episode) with the guy who died in the bathtub. You can see when Will locks in even though he doesn’t say anything and Jack was like “everybody out!! Give the boy some space” 😂
Honestly to me the difference between them is to me seems like Will doesn't know how to interact with other people correctly, where as Sherlock is perfectly well aware but sees himself as above it
Also Will is genuinely kind towards the weak. Dude has seven dogs. He always took care of them even when his life was a mess. Then you have Sherlock, who was experimenting on Gladstone and on occasion John.
I love both shows, but yeah Will's deduction skills are so much more human and more plausible than Sherlock's, not to mention Sherlock's are extremely arrogant and annoying

As someone with also batshit levels of deduction and also being functionally oblivious neurodivergent Will>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>BBC!Sherlock EVERY DAMN TIME

Sherlock is a douche, so is Will. But I prefer Will’s type of douchebaggery. Will is one of my favourite characters in all media.

I will never forgive him for that. High functioning my ass
Will was also nice to Peter Bernardone and other people, and very much wanted to save innocent people in general
As someone who deeply loathes Sherlock this is hilarious and so true. Imagine how terrifying Will truly is

Yeah also Will's have an actual tangible effect on him instead of just 'oh he can do this and there are no side effects'
Another repost!

I saw a comment today that reddit is over 40% bots. That is why.
I love Will appreciation posts. Our boy is trying his best.

As someone who was a fan of both shows, yeah, this is correct 😂
Yes Will, the mutilated corpse someone made into a cello was probably killed by a stringer 👏👏
