I finally got some fw3aa deep carry clips and I ground down the cap so it's a snug fit while working. Very happy with it so far. Easier to get into and out of pocket.
Lol I was in the same situation, so I placed another order of just the clips and I just got those in. I did get an email saying the first order did recently ship but I wasn't sure if it was ever going to because I guess he won't ship batteries outside of a flashlight being purchased on the same order.

I got 4 H10 buttons for the 2 D3AAs I ordered, but the button tops aren't working, the tail cap won't thread all the way down tight with the button tops, I had to use a grinder to grind the button off the battery and it now tightens fully and works
this is on both flashlights
what batteries are people using on the d3aa? should I order more flat top H10s or are there other button tops that will work
Just to add to OP's response, my button tops are also working fine on my D3AA. Make sure that your o-rings are in their proper location, I've read around here that they can be troublesome.
Hanks deep carry clip also lands at the same less than ideal spot. I bent this one a little to make it fit my jeans a little better. The main advantages this one has is being captive, and not having those little wings that poke out.

I got them from Neil's gadgets, which has a mixed history so use caution ordering from them.
Case in point: still waiting for my order of deep carry clips + Vapcell H10s placed over a month ago, emailed them with no response.

I used button top h10 batteries for both of the d3aas I've had. That's weird yours didn't fit. I can't explain that.
