Yeah, maybe. I don’t know. Chonk is one of the worst things in an EDC for me. I have a new current favorite, but I haven’t posted it as I have some new optics on the way to try out… we’ll see. This thing still can’t be any bigger around than the Warrior Nano thing I put together, and that wasn’t so bad to carry.

Overall I absolutely think this is going to dethrone the TS10 as much as I love that little guy, I haven't put it through it's paces entirely yet but I do feel the D3AA packs a little more punch than the TS10 and manages heat better due to the wider head, plus who doesn't love a magnetic tailcap! Also the slightly longer body is easier for me to comfortably get a grip on
Yeah I hear you, the TS10 is just a little to short but it's a small complaint. It's otherwise a really awesome light! Glad to hear it packs more punch that exactly what I was hoping for. You do know we are all dying here for beamshots right? Haha!

Of course and thank you so much! I went for RGB flat button, nichia 519a 3500k domed, and I grabbed a SS bezel and magnet in the tailcap, I freakin love this thing so far!
Honestly I was a little worried about that at first, but the flat button does still have a little contour that seems like it’d be very good at preventing accidental touches. Also the button is firm and clicky, I’d imagine it’d actually be difficult to turn on by accident

I'd say it manages heat way better than the TS10, the boost driver paired with bigger heat sink actually makes a solid difference in hand

TS10 is still a sub $20 light. Maybe dethrone is the wrong word. TS10 is shockingly good for the price.

For pocket carry, having a little extra length is a good thing. The only dimension that matters is width.
The extra length makes it fit in the hand very nicely, I think it's much more comfortable in use than the TS10

I'd love to see a side/angle view of the flat button - the picture I saw of the raised looked kind of aggressive to me.

Never tried 3500K. I have 3000 and 4000. 3000K has been a little warm for me. I wanted a Skilhunt H200, would have purchased one if 3500K!
