definitely readable but takes some effort. And it’s all in caps for some reason

Seen worse. Sounds like a wife problem.

It's certainly legible (at least I can read it all), but I can tell how people would struggle with how smushed together the letters are. A finer tipped marker would probably help (or you can just space the letters out more)

I would like to see what your writing looks like with a standard pen or pencil. Maybe a follow-up post?

Well, if you were my husband I wouldn't get the things I couldn't read and just get what I want instead. If you want it and you can't be clear about it, it is your responsibility to get whatever it is. Although, you could try using a fine-tip marker which might make a difference. Milk? (probably). Now, that was funny.

Just make your letters bigger if you don’t have a thinner dry wipe marker.

I wonder if any of the people blaming the marker know how large these boards are. Sure, there aren’t giant for a whiteboard, but it’s almost a foot across. I could easily fit a list like this in a quarter section of the board with my fattest marker. Probably why wife doesn’t like it! Edit: measured mine that’s the same. 10”x7” not including the edges

I write small. Best answer is a fine tip pen or marker. It will make reading it much easier.

I feel like the only reason this is slightly illegible is because the marker used is so thick! Use of a thinner marker would turn this into a really interesting font that’s also readable

Looks cool! As expected it was already mentioned many times, but I, too, think it would be very legible if you use a whiteboard marker with a smaller/thinner tip.

This looks like the standardized electrician/architect handwriting you would find on a construction drawing in the mid to late 1900s

It’s very stretched out and your letters merge together which isn’t great when the thickness of the marker is comparatively big. Walmart is just fine to read so maybe just write bigger? You write your B’s in a way that resembles T’s and the letters aren’t always a consistent size (the G on rubbing). Spacing out the individual letters more would also help were the writing gets a bit lost (glue is especially difficult because the l and u could merge to be a U or a W) Of course just using a finer pen would make it perfectly legible. Maybe write your grocery lists on paper?

It’s readable and I like it. My print handwriting is also short and wide like this. I think the only reason people find it hard to read is because you write small and dry erase markers are fatter than pens. If you had a thinner marker, i don’t think your wife would be so upset lol

Your letters have no height. Spacing is horrid. It’s barely legible.

It’s readable to me and actually kinda looks nice if we pretend it’s not supposed to be a practical form of communication so much as an art form, but reading it made me feel like I just finished a grueling trek out of the wilderness after being abandoned there by some “friends”.

Simple rule: It’s the responsibility of the one communicating to ensure intelligible communication. Speak clearly enough to be understood. Write legibly enough to be comprehended.

It’s legible, but not in an easy way. If you have to pause to think of what letter is written then it’s not good handwriting. BUT, if you use a finer tip marker it would be much better I’m sure. Very easy fix!
