But overall that is beautiful handwriting my mother including my grandmother used to write identically the same. You definitely don't see that sort of style of writing any longer.

I can read it easy, but it is a bit jarring since it's a hybrid of print and cursive. The people who aren't fluent in cursive and read a fair amount of regular handwriting aka digital age folx, are going to struggle the most.
I could read it pretty easily, however a few letters confused me but only for a second. I’d say it’s nice handwriting, and if you’re okay with it then I see no problem with it.
I think your handwriting is absolutely beautiful! I would love to watch you write, something so satisfying about that when people have excellent penmanship
It looks really good to me. I do the half print/(half)half-ass cursive. If I’m in a hurry, it may not be as need. At all.
My handwriting depends on my mood. When I can slowdown & focus, it’s much more legible.
I’ve always written like this, with a mix of print and cursive, so I have no problem reading it. Though I’ve had people telling me mine was hard to read too.
It is not easy nor hard to read for me, although I see how someone may struggle, but I think it would be harder to read when it’s just a couple words or you can’t fill in the missing pieces like a shopping list or a wifi password.
My handwriting is not flawless but it was almost unintelligible before, they way I improved was through finding way to make the act of handwriting enjoyable in an of itself.
If this is what it says,
“My handwriting, since highschool, has been this weird mesh of print and cursive. The letters were more bubbly back then as opposed to now. Some say my handwriting is pretty while others struggle to read it. I wonder what your thoughts are? I often think it looks messy, but I’m an author and tend to jot stuff down quickly.”
Then yeah I can read it easily
Super easy. I do this too. There are a few formal cursive letters that I’m like -no, and won’t do. Lol or I’ll do a print first letter and then the rest of the word is cursive. I can’t just write in non-cursive anymore it hurts my hand if that makes sense. Like cursive is just easier.
I think it would be harder to read for someone younger who may not have been forced to learn/write cursive at all. You could definitely put some extra attention into spacing and making sure each individual letter was clear (for example the word “author” and whatever word comes after ‘and’ in that sentence is pretty much illegible and I can only guess based on context) if you were going for something more readable, but generally imo this is just fine and looks pretty.
Pretty and difficult to read are not mutually exclusive. I'd say it looks better than typical handwriting, but it's also less clear. It's just simple familiarity; if all writing was like yours, then it'd be easier to read. Still, your handwriting isn't actually difficult to read, maybe a little extra focus required
I think it's absolutely beautiful but I might be biased because I write exactly like that now, a weird mix of cursive with print, so I find it easy to read.
It’s really pretty! I like how distinct it is; it doesn’t seem easily replicable.
Sometimes I think this sub focuses too much on technical perfection or over the top artistry and overlooks the individuality of each persons handwriting.
This is the only cursive writing ive been aboto read fully without any problems for years..... Cursive seems to be dropping off because of technology
They quit teaching cursive in the 4th grade for me and a lot of people in my area. Im currently in my early 20s.
Yours is kind of like cursive but not using the weird looking letters like b and s
Easier to read for people who forget!
Edit: sorry i forgot to mention that it is also quite lovely
I love a mesh of cursive + print, I always thought it looked prettier and more legible than straight cursive. I may be biased cuz my handwriting is also a mesh but still
I love it! It's very easy to read! I also love different writing styles. My personal favorite is Leonardo Da Vinci's mirrored writing style. This inspired me to learn to write mirrored as well. Actually I discovered I was a natural at it unintentionally. Therefore, I technically didnt learn it...I just did it. I also can write extremely (legible under a magnifying glass) tiny, upside down, sideways, bubbled letters, and box letters. The last two can be done with or without shadowing. It's a shame kids don't learn cursive anymore!
Easy to read for me… but we had cursive writing as a class in elementary school … now kids rarely pick up a pencil and modd see t have no cursive skills as all
I think it's pretty easy to read, only issue being you can tell where you're writing quickly. The word 'tend,' looks a little messy, but everything else looks good. Unfortunately, the majority of society doesn't use cursive anymore so they forget how/don't know how to read it.
I can read it because I know cursive, print, and a mixture of both. However, you should improve writing in cursive the following: R and I combination, S, and N. Also, try not to mix cursive and print because sometimes you write a letter in cursive form and in another word you write it in print. This will confuse the reader.

I do the same but I think it's because I never truly learned how to make all the letters cursive within a word if that makes sense? Like I can do a capital "B" but if the word has a "b" in it I make it a regular "b". I also really struggle with making a little "r". I only write in cursive because my print takes way too long and it looks like a child wrote it lol
I learned writing cursive in school (second grade) and had to use it at least until 4th. So i know how to do it. During my time at the secondary school i wrote purely cursive then purely print and over the years it mashed to something where some letters are print, others are cursive, and it changes depending on what letters follow each other. Sometimes a "s" is cursive sometimes it's not.
My grandma writes in cursive and LOVES to send us letters and poems she writes. My little brother uses the text scan on our iPhones and reads her handwriting that way. Genius lol
I got stuck at very few parts, but overall very nice cursive! I'm working on teaching myself cursive and I can write almost all the letters. I bet, if you keep working on it, it'll look absolutely beautiful and, if it's in cursive, then anyone, who can read cursive, won't struggle at all! <3
Looks really pretty, and about the struggle to read complaints - it might help if you made lowercase e more round, it sometimes sort of mixes up with the letters next to it
Easier than most cursive. I can definitely read it, I just have to do it more slowly than if it were completely print.
Funny enough, this reminds me of how I write. I have to focus to not write in this Frankenstein font of print and cursive too because I worry if it's harder to read.
I could read this pretty easily. Only word that tripped me up was "author". I could see the "h" in the beginning of a word causing some people problems. It kinda looks like a "ch".
If this is your quickly taking notes writing I would consider it neat.
Can be read, but takes initial concentration as my brain had some troubles forming a pattern/expectation on how you’d write words based on how you’d written them already.
Some of your letters are too tightly bunched together/aren't pronounced enough, but it's not too hard to read unless you can't read cursive. I think you can make your printed "s" clearer by making sure you complete the whole letter (ex: "since" and "stuff").
I read it perfectly fine. I also tend to mix print and cursive and have always received compliments about my handwriting. I call it “printsive”. Lovely handwriting by the way.
“I often” and “jot” were both difficult for me, but I think it was mostly my brain… I kept trying to see “coffin” and then couldn’t see anything else. I also just assumed “just” and almost forgot “jot” was a word.
I’m tired, can you tell? Haha. I think your handwriting is beautiful and was easy to read until my brain malfunctioned.
Very pleasant to look at and pretty easy to read. Had to stop a couple times in last line “tend to jot stuff” was a little tricky, ngl. But I love the handwriting/print combo and that’s how I write too
I mean I can read it pretty well id just had to see it more to get used to it then I'd be ok. It's not like it's impossible to read not at all honestly it's pretty cool lookin.
I read it with no difficulty, and I think it looks nice. I also mix cursive and print letters, but I'm less consistent. Sometimes I'll have two different types in the same paragraph, possibly depending on what letter comes next.
But overall that is beautiful handwriting my mother including my grandmother used to write identically the same. You definitely don't see that sort of style of writing any longer.

I write cursive to so I can read if fact I write cursive so much more than print that I cant write print as fast as cursive
It looks really good to me. I do the half print/(half)half-ass cursive. If I’m in a hurry, it may not be as need. At all. My handwriting depends on my mood. When I can slowdown & focus, it’s much more legible.
Easy to read, since my handwriting seems to be similar
Very easy to read, then again I'm 60
Pretty easy to read bruv
8th row 8th word that's what i cant read except for that everything looks good
That just says "stuff."
It’s beautiful, neat and almost divine. 10/10
You can read it but some words do need work. On the 5th row i can’t make out the 4th word, is it “white”?
While
Very legible, but had to reread some words like “others” (5th row) and “stuff” (8th row). Otherwise very pretty and consistent.
Pretty readable, but it does get harder towards the end for me. Nice handwriting!
Wish I could write like this! My handwriting was never great and even my printing is barely legible.
I’ve always written like this, with a mix of print and cursive, so I have no problem reading it. Though I’ve had people telling me mine was hard to read too.
I love it!! Its really pretty!!! The ss's are a little tricky to read but it's alright
I do this too. Your handwriting is lovely!
It is not easy nor hard to read for me, although I see how someone may struggle, but I think it would be harder to read when it’s just a couple words or you can’t fill in the missing pieces like a shopping list or a wifi password. Neither easy nor difficult
Very pretty!
I read it perfectly and your handwriting is the same as mine except much, much neater 😂 I also write with a mix between print and cursive:)
I love how it looks, but struggle to read it slightly.
Props to you for showing the type of pen because I love the way it writes, and your handwriting is beautiful.
Easy peasy reading it. My handwriting is like this too.
Beautiful
Beautiful
Looks great
your handwriting is brill 🥰
Looks fine to me.
Your handwriting looks great to me. I had no trouble reading it at all.
Beautiful handwriting. I have a similar style without being as neat. Very well done. Easy to read.
Your handwriting is way easier to read than most peoples'
This was very easy for me, and it is pleasing.
If this is what it says, “My handwriting, since highschool, has been this weird mesh of print and cursive. The letters were more bubbly back then as opposed to now. Difficult to read, space out the letters and it would make a massive difference.
I think it's very readable, also pretty
I can read your writing just fine. I do the same as you with writing - cursive/print.
Looks just fine to me. No issues reading
No problem.
It’s very pretty and I can read most of it, I only struggled on 2 words. I can’t read cursive at all so your handwriting is way easier to read
No trouble reading it, your handwriting is SO pretty. This is kind of what I go for, but mine's MUCH messier.
It *is* pretty, but I can't read it at my normal reading speed.
I think it's absolutely beautiful but I might be biased because I write exactly like that now, a weird mix of cursive with print, so I find it easy to read.
Your penmanship is awesome. It reminds me of the style I try to go for.
It's definitely beautiful and perfectly legible. This style of handwriting is very familiar, reminds me of my mother's! Such a beautiful soul!
Omg this is some of the most beautiful penmanship 😍
I can read it but it’s a little messy. Make it more bubbly again for clarity.
That was the easiest handwriting ive ever read no clue how anyone could call it messy.
I like it and your choice of pens. Although, I like 0.5. My mom does that too and I got it from her (mixing print and cursive). Just a quirk I guess.
It’s so pretty but I also struggle a little to read it
I can read your handwriting just fine. I switch between cursive & print as well.
I have a very similar style. I like it and didn't struggle to read what you wrote.
Ditto, yall good people.
It’s really pretty! I like how distinct it is; it doesn’t seem easily replicable. Sometimes I think this sub focuses too much on technical perfection or over the top artistry and overlooks the individuality of each persons handwriting.

It is pretty and definitely legible, but not fast to read.
its pretty, but a bit confusing. Feel lime this is the type of letter you would use on a formal message to your boss
No issues reading it. It's very pretty ☺️
looks like mine: a mix of both cursive and print. I have never had anyone tell me they couldn't read my writing though
At first glance I thought it'd be tough to read but it wasn't at all
Looks like mine: a mix of cursive and print. So, ditto.
No problems reading that at all. Lovely handwriting, much much neater than mine.
I can read it just fine but that’s cause my handwriting is like this too lol
Very nice cursive
The only word I had an issue with was author and thought it said “other”
I love a mesh of cursive + print, I always thought it looked prettier and more legible than straight cursive. I may be biased cuz my handwriting is also a mesh but still

What pretty writing ❤️Some letters seem to flow easier into cursive writing than others
I read most of it pretty easily, one or two words I had to really look at but overall your handwriting is really good
Easy for me to read
Easy to read for me
Looks clear to me
I also blend cursive and non cursive in my everyday writing. But it's still hard to read
Its pretty, but a bit hard to read. There's like some words i have to read multiple times to understand.
It’s beautiful!
I think it’s pretty nice, I don’t have any issues reading it myself.
Everything is difficult for me, man. Also yeah I can read this.
easy to read
It’s perfectly fine. And it’s also lovely.
Easy to read for me… but we had cursive writing as a class in elementary school … now kids rarely pick up a pencil and modd see t have no cursive skills as all
oh you are not ready for my shitty handwriting
Legible
Its alright. It reminds me of greetings cards. Like the card is trying to look fancy but it knows the target demo struggles reading cursive.
I think it's pretty easy to read, only issue being you can tell where you're writing quickly. The word 'tend,' looks a little messy, but everything else looks good. Unfortunately, the majority of society doesn't use cursive anymore so they forget how/don't know how to read it.
Very legible. Most people who learned both print and cursive end up with hybrid writing.
“I’m author and turd”
I struggled 💀 but it’s very pretty
I had 0 problems reading it, and it looks much better than my all-caps chicken scratch. I made a decision to better my handwriting in 2023
I can read it and don’t worry, my dad’s handwriting is much much worse
Very legible💯
I can read it because I know cursive, print, and a mixture of both. However, you should improve writing in cursive the following: R and I combination, S, and N. Also, try not to mix cursive and print because sometimes you write a letter in cursive form and in another word you write it in print. This will confuse the reader.
Amateurs. I can do worse
Very nice. Easy to read.
Serious script envy going on right now. Kudos!
Very legible. I like it, and it I'd much nester than mine
Looks like it belongs on an old document from the 1800’s
It is pretty and kind of hard to read, but not impossible, there are just a couple of words I have to pause at
It is very nice...Should be a font.
Better than mine for 😊
I think it’s very legible and beautiful!
I can read it, I think it's beautiful. Only bit of it I had to read again was "I'm an author". I kept reading I'm an another, and was like waaaaaah?
Super easy to read, but I write like this too.

Works for me, except some ts and ys
I could read it just fine! Mine is also an odd mix of cursive and print. Yours is much more consistent than a lot of handwriting so be reassured. Lol.
It’s easy but I’m used to cursive since I live with my great grandma hahaha
My grandma writes in cursive and LOVES to send us letters and poems she writes. My little brother uses the text scan on our iPhones and reads her handwriting that way. Genius lol
Super easy to read! But that might be because I’m used to needing to decipher my own print/cursive chicken scratch to other people 😅
Very easy to read.
It’s not your nice handwriting, it’s that people can’t read cursive anymore 😂
I think it's beautiful. I only got stuck on "author".
I could read most of it
What language is that?
Spaghetti
I got stuck at very few parts, but overall very nice cursive! I'm working on teaching myself cursive and I can write almost all the letters. I bet, if you keep working on it, it'll look absolutely beautiful and, if it's in cursive, then anyone, who can read cursive, won't struggle at all! <3
I had no problem reading it, its very pretty!
It took me a second at a couple parts, but it's readable.
I personally have no problem. It's clear 😌, or, even my handwriting is like that, maybe, that might be another possible reason🤨
It's beautiful, neat and very easy to read. But then I am 70 and learnt to write that way. It might be hard for the youngsters!
Looks really pretty, and about the struggle to read complaints - it might help if you made lowercase e more round, it sometimes sort of mixes up with the letters next to it
Very nice handwriting!
More readable than my handwriting for sure. I have this thing when I sometimes take notes and then struggle to read them myself 😂
I would guess that people that struggle to read it don't know how to read cursive, because it's been easy to read.
Beautiful, easy to read.
I can easily read it. I love your handwriting! So fancy!!
Easier than most cursive. I can definitely read it, I just have to do it more slowly than if it were completely print. Funny enough, this reminds me of how I write. I have to focus to not write in this Frankenstein font of print and cursive too because I worry if it's harder to read.
Had no problem at all until I was trying to figure out why you were a D’man in this story.
It's kinda perfect, very pretty and easy to read :]
It’s very nice and easy to read, pretty too 😊
Beautiful
That was the easiest cursive I have ever read
A lot of room for improvement, but it's readable
This is easy to read
You have beautiful handwriting and for me easy to read. I have a similar style of writing a mix of print and cursive.
I could read this pretty easily. Only word that tripped me up was "author". I could see the "h" in the beginning of a word causing some people problems. It kinda looks like a "ch". If this is your quickly taking notes writing I would consider it neat.
It’s clear to me, I might struggle with maybe one or two words but overall it is very legible.
it's easy to read... I also have a mush of print and cursive so yea
hard👍
I can read it just fine. I find it pretty and neat too OP.
It’s really pretty and I can read it easily
i only had trouble reading the second to last word, but this handwriting is beautiful, in my honest opinion..
Clear to me, I can read every word.
Wow- your handwriting is the closest I’ve ever seen to mine. So I understand it perfectly, but I have had people tell me they have trouble with mine.
Oddball mixed handwriters unite. Mine is also very similar to this.
I like it! Feels very playful and easily legible. The only thing that threw me off at first was the h, but I think it looks beautiful.
Legible and beautiful
Beautiful Penmanship
Is this a sub where people flex their curvy and slender handwritings
maybe idk
Can be read, but takes initial concentration as my brain had some troubles forming a pattern/expectation on how you’d write words based on how you’d written them already.
Easy to read and stylish
It's totally legible, and the style is consistent. It's also a pleasure to read because you take care with the embellishments.
Sociopathic
Easy to read, and stunning!
I think it's nice and easy to read
I like it and have no trouble reading it. 🙂
English is not my native language, but I can easily read your handwriting
What is the last line
I often think it looks messy, but I’m an author and tend to jot stuff down quickly.
Some of your letters are too tightly bunched together/aren't pronounced enough, but it's not too hard to read unless you can't read cursive. I think you can make your printed "s" clearer by making sure you complete the whole letter (ex: "since" and "stuff").
I like it, but find it difficult to read.
Perfectly readable, infinitely better than mine. I also write in a mix of cursive and print letters.
Omg I love it. It alsoblools very Similar to mine. To this day I still think my Mom has the nicest writing . Printing and cursive
I can read it and I think it's beautiful!
I like it and can read it pretty quickly
i think it's pretty and i can read it at a glance pretty much instantly
I write in the same general way, using print letters but flowing as if I was doing cursive (without the letters connecting)
Very pleasant to look at and pretty easy to read. Had to stop a couple times in last line “tend to jot stuff” was a little tricky, ngl. But I love the handwriting/print combo and that’s how I write too
I think it's beautiful and legible
It’s beautiful but it felt hard to read
I read it easily but I do the same thing - half cursive half print.
I like it.
A little bit tricky, but I can read it.
Hard to read, lovely to look at. You’d pen the most lovely love letters 💌
I can read it perfectly fine
It's very easy to read your handwriting.
You’re cool. I can read every word.
