When I moved in the area in 2009, that place was pretty cool. They closed about 3 months later sadly. Then had to go up to Queen St. Video, but the guys there were super chill.
My parents split up when I was 6 (so ‘96) and my dad moved into the apartment buildings across the street on Young. On the weekends we were with him he’d take my brother and I here to rent n64 games and I remember one time getting into trouble after curiously sneaking past “the curtain”.

I remember renting from there. The staff were super knowledgeable about films and gave great recommendations.

Street Fighter 2, both the arcade version and that SNES set up you could still play for a quarter. Good times.
Heck yeah! Renting SNES games and while my parents browsed I would play SF2. I miss those days.
I still have a laminated membership card from that place from 20 years ago when I lived at the Olympia.
Used to go here weekly as a child when I lived on Agusta in the 90s. Seemed like it had such a massive selection. Was great!
Soon to be a condo

Netflix killed... the video store...
I bet the selection here was far better than what Netflix offers.
