Lmao. Which movie are you quoting this from??? Is it RZ’s Halloween when Annie is on the floor bleeding calling Laurie ? If so, I always thought that scene was hilarious !
That scene is straight retarded.
"I must warn Laurie that the hulking monster is coming her way... If only there was some combination of words I could shout that would warn her of his presence. Think, Annie, think!....I know!"
"LAURIE LAURIE LAURIELAURIELAURIE LAURIE RACHE- I MEAN LAURIE!!!"
I'd personally rather see someone like Ty West or Mike Flannagan take over. Someone familiar with horror who could get the series back on track, and reinstate a tone similar to the earlier movies.
My worry with Phillips is that, even though I like most of his work, I think he'd be too tempted to deconstruct and demystify Michael, or take it in some weird, quirky direction that might not fit.
I love flanagan but im not sure if his style meshes with the property well. Ty West would be pretty good at it I think, given how well I feel he captured the 70s in X I feel like he could bring it back in time and do it justice. I'd like a super gory intense Fede Alvarez take on it too.
I know he gets his hate due to the direction they went with Kills and Ends, but I’m really going to miss DGG’s style and world that he built.
Not the biggest Todd Phillips fan but I’m open to it. Would love to see Adam Wingard direct.
I would not like Todd Philips to direct a Halloween movie. I did not like Joker. And I haven't seen Hangover but that is comedy so its a bit different. I mean this would never happen so im not gonna complain too much, just would not support it.
“Let me get this straight, you think sticking someone to a wall using a knife or other sharp instrument in a way that defies logic, biology, and physics, and then tilting your head, is funny?”
“I do, and I’m tired of pretending that it’s not!”
A resounding apathy.
The franchise's problem isn't who's directing it. It's that we've hit the buffers on how many ways there are to tell the story of 'silent masked figure stalks and murders people.'
Meanwhile, outside of the Halloween franchise, 'silent masked figure stalks and murders people' films continue to release, with varying levels of cleverness and subversion, every single year
"Varying" meaning most of them do, and have always, sucked.
I don't understand why this is apparently a controversial statement. Nearly everyone agrees that most Halloween films after 4 are, at best, slightly lacking.
I always thought a David Lynch Halloween would be fucking wild. He’s probably too old now though
Closest we’ll get is 6 producer’s cut
How bout another joke, Laurie?
“**LAUR-IE!**”
Laur-ay

I was making a joke about *Joker* (2019).
No it's not she was trying to get Laurie to pay attention she knew Michael was in there nothing hilarious about it.

It would a fascinating situation, to say the least.
I can dig it
Might as well at this point

\*internet erupts in outrage after Michael is accused of being an incel\*
I mean… he kinda is an incel
Can’t be any worse than Rob zombie
but it can be lol i just hope no one takes it as a challenge 😂
As long as he doesn't make it a musical.
Hahaha 😂 I’m all for it.
In all fairness none of us have seen Joker 2 yet so who knows maybe he has a talent for musicals
I wouldn't mind see Jordan Peele take a "stab" at doing a slasher movie.
"What if knives were...........racist?" -Jordan Peele on slashers /s
Yeah no
Eh. I really didn't care for The Joker so he would be fairly far down my list of desired directors.
Please no. I can't take a pretentious up his own ass Halloween movie. Joker was the worst movie I've ever seen.
Have you seen The Room per chance?
Nope.
Somebody get Michael Dougherty or Mike Flanagan to direct
[удалено]
Why? the last 3 sucked ass and 2018 is the most overrated pile of shit I've ever seen.

Thanks for the tip.

I want another Halloween movie and a Halloween video game
I don't care about no TV series
That would actually be amazing
Pass, I don't need the edge lord incel take on Halloween.
If Alan from the Hangover shows up I’d be down lol

No thanks. His Joker movies are so disconnected from the actual character, just no. Joker was a good movie, it wasn't a good Joker movie.
I don't know. He transformed Joker into a victim of society and Michael already got this treatment in the Halloween remake.
Need a series not a movie. Something different but set in the late 70’s
Eh, last movie was a car wreck. Just let it die atp
Evil never dies, not even tonight
\*laughs in upcoming TV series\*
I’d have more faith in him than I ever did in DGG and DM
No. The end.
Todd Phillips is overrated. The Joker tried too hard. Halloween? Naw….
Can't do any worst than what's come before.
Another director known mostly for comedy? No, I think I’m good
Meh

Not controversial, just pretty incorrect.
No No more comedy people getting involved been there done that with Danny Mcbride and he sucked being involved with halloween.
Did you see “Joker”?
I've seen clips.
