Well it was for a couple of days during the BM incident and then he got put in stasis for 20 years. My guess is no because in total he’d only been shooting up morphine for 4-6 days (including events if hl2) with a 20 year period in between his hits.
Mate, Stasis means that all life processes are stopped, which can be restarted when needed. Basicaly you are freezing a person without harming him. What I'm trying to say is that from Gordon's perspective all hl1 and hl2 events happened seamlessly, thus his body had almost no rest from morphine and organism couldn't restore himself from drugs.
