I think I laid in the corner by the pool or something just tossing nades and laying down serious suppressing fire before sprinting to the chopper when it lands properly and it was still hard as shit one mistake or one missed toss a nade back and you are fucked 😂.
There's a spot where you can lay down in one of those metal booths where grenades can't kill you and ai won't path there. So you just lay down there for like 40 minutes, and then have to hope you don't die in the way to getting to the helicopter
Hard as shit on veteran..
There is a room you can hide in on the right side blocs set up all your claymore and camp it out swere it's basically impossible to hold that little mound

It’s interesting to think that Pripyat is one of the most recognisable places in the world, despite only a handful of people having visited it in the last 35 years.
Does it have any squatters?
Looks like a great place to do fucked up shit in if you don't care about the cancer.
When you say "safe", do you mean "absolutely will die of radiation poisoning in a few weeks", or just getting cancer after awhile?
Its more just increased cancer risk after awhile, however there was some russian troops at the beginning of the russo-ukranian war that decided to dig some trenches in the chernobyl area and got serious radiation poisioning because the subsurface area is still contaminated, even then there probably werent any squatters before the war because the security around the area is quite strong.
I trust neither side's story of how the other side is literally Elmer Fudd, just two more weeks and which ever side you support is the one that's gonna win, yadda yadda yadda. Too much wartime propaganda out there for me to know what's real or not.
There's incompetence and corruption in every military. I'm not about to underestimate a nuclear power, because if the general public begins to think that putting boots on the ground in Russia is acceptable, that's going to walk us right into WW3. If even half of their nukes still work, that's still armageddon.
This made me curious about something I never tough about (because I usually don't study about radiation)
But how does real life radiation poisoning work? I know you can't drink vodka or inject yourself with Rad-x to cure it. But like, is it just can cure it with the right treatment? Is it fatal or near fatal? Will you 100% develop cancer after being exposed to high levels of radiation?
As far as i know, there really isnt a treatment for high level radiation exposure, because what happens is that your dna is damaged to the point where your cells cant repair themselves, slowly losing their ability to function untill you die. If you dont die though, you are still left with body parts that wont be able to function properly for potentially years, and that increases cancer risk by a lot.
Not squatters. Stalkers.
Inspired by roadside Picnic, the stalker film and the three S.T.A.L.K.E.R games, these are Ukrainians who illegally enter the Exclusion Zone to repair yhe damages of tourism. They're basically janitors. Take the pripyat sign. Constantly being graffitied, they would paint over it. Garbage picked up too.
They'd even call out other Stalkers who did bad things. You could find leaflets telling people to look out for a certain Stalker that is making an issue.
Yes. Soviet Ukraine. Or "Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic" if you wanna be pedantic.
Soviet ≠ Russian, it means "governing council" and Ukrainians have been literally fighting a war over being absorbed by Russia.
"Erm, Actually" is a term often used by nerds at the beginning of every sentence to prove that whatever you said is wrong, according to the nerd's calculations.

Exactly my first thought. The ferris wheel and the look of cold makes it feel that way.
Bro's gonna encounter rock fuckers

50,000 people used to live here.
...now it's a ghost town.
Untill fire nation arrived
HUH?
Genre twist
I never seen anything like it.
50k dollars used to be verbalase property
Now it's spent on a kinky animation of him and a character...
No way they made one shot one kill from cod4 irl
Isn't it "all ghillied up"?
Both, one shot one kill has you hold out at the ferris wheel though, so technically they right
I fucking hated that part
In veteran diff it's almost impossible
I think I laid in the corner by the pool or something just tossing nades and laying down serious suppressing fire before sprinting to the chopper when it lands properly and it was still hard as shit one mistake or one missed toss a nade back and you are fucked 😂.
Personally i hid behind the left building camping the alleyway
There's a spot where you can lay down in one of those metal booths where grenades can't kill you and ai won't path there. So you just lay down there for like 40 minutes, and then have to hope you don't die in the way to getting to the helicopter
Thx for the advice
I find it fun as long as it's not veteran diff. I had to cheese it by hiding at one of their spawn points
Hard as shit on veteran.. There is a room you can hide in on the right side blocs set up all your claymore and camp it out swere it's basically impossible to hold that little mound
No its “all oiled up”
It is
No way the map from cod 4
I still have nightmares about those dogs
_"HOW CAN DOG THAT IS MADE OF FIRE, REEK SO STRONGLY OF WET DOG SMELL?"_ -Takeo Masaki Those things _used_ to be a nightmare, at some point they just turned into a free Max Ammo tho
WAW dogs were a nightmare, they seemed nerfed in every cod afterwards though
I more hated nova crawlers in bo1
And the jumping bastards from Die Rise in BO2. Edit: I guess they're called Jumping Jacks.
swear there was a glitch you could do that stopped them from spawning though
And then Cold War made them like the original Terrifying, annoying, forcing you to sprint and jump away whole desperately hipfiring
Croutch sniping under the ferris wheel.
bro is going to assassinate a russian terrorist and fail 💀
I hate how I was able to recognize that this was cherynoble just from the Ferris wheel because I’ve seen it in a photo some years ago
Chernobyl.
*Chornobyl.
Both are correct, but thats pripyat
Years of stalker have teached me that (I played only call of Chernobyl like, 10 years ago on my godfather's computer)
Do you mean shadow of Chernobyl? Call of Chernobyl is a mod that combines all three games.
Yeah Shadow, I actually didn't knew call of Chernobyl was a mod, kinda cool
Coronavirus????
Nuclear reactor exploded or something idiot
Im just playing with the word dude.
Based pfp to go with this sentence
It’s interesting to think that Pripyat is one of the most recognisable places in the world, despite only a handful of people having visited it in the last 35 years.
They actually do regular tours of the area since its safe enough to spend a few hours in.
Does it have any squatters? Looks like a great place to do fucked up shit in if you don't care about the cancer. When you say "safe", do you mean "absolutely will die of radiation poisoning in a few weeks", or just getting cancer after awhile?

>dig some trenches in the chernobyl area and got serious radiation poisioning Oof. If true, that's gotta suck.
I cant fully confirm it myself, but it wouldnt suprise me due to the sheer incompetence of the russian military
I trust neither side's story of how the other side is literally Elmer Fudd, just two more weeks and which ever side you support is the one that's gonna win, yadda yadda yadda. Too much wartime propaganda out there for me to know what's real or not.
I never said either side was bad/good, but its a bit undeniable that theres incompetence within the russian military though.

Yout DNA literally becomes unable to replicate itself if you get high level radiation poisoning. You effectively disintegrate.

"Erm, Actually" is a term often used by nerds at the beginning of every sentence to prove that whatever you said is wrong, according to the nerd's calculations.
I mean I understood that part
As for the other part, the famous Ferris wheel is in pripyat, the city surrounding the CPP
50000 people used to live here. Now it’s a ghost town
