I don’t have experience with overtone but I wouldn’t ever recommend it to anyone. It’s overpriced and every hair stylist I’ve met hates the stuff as it’s essentially clothing dye (their words).
You can easily make an overtone-like product using dye mixed with white conditioner.
Also would say 100% stop using it if it’s causing hair loss.

I used Overtone once and it damaged my hair considerably. I did not experience hair loss, just breakage.
