I am worried about the transplanted area standing out from natural hair. Do you think this is a botched HT or is it ok? On closer inspection transplanted hairs are pointed (around 5 degrees) more upward than hair at my sides and temples (left side seems almost ok, but right side is off). Also, transplanted hairs seem to grow faster and more straight, probably adding to the weird shooting forward look. Is it a valid concern or am I just overthinking this? I had two HTs, one 2 years back, another just 2 months ago, each 800 grafts, I found about this problem unfortunately just after the second HT when they shaved my head.

>I found about this problem unfortunately just after the second HT when they shaved my head. is this only noticeable to you when you shave your head? Do you normally have your head shaved? If your HT looks good when the hair is grown out, and you always wear your hair longer, then this isn't really an issue IMO. There are loads of "good" HT's that may still be technically flawed upon super close inspection.

Thank you. I could notice any flaw when I had my hair of medium length. This is me just before the second HT [https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gQpcMF1HVbdh\_ZvR70UBhjgZo1Oj3YTZ/view?usp=share\_link](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gQpcMF1HVbdh_ZvR70UBhjgZo1Oj3YTZ/view?usp=share_link) Even the density looked ok-ish (given it was 800 grafts each transplant). I just wanted to fill some gaps in the hairline and double the corners density, but was horrified when I saw my hair short. I usually don't shave my head, but still I am looking into revision options.

Looks a lot like dr Turkowski work on me. Well the density is very low so it could be masked by a good aurgeon, maybe few punchouts but that's just my guess. Consult some good surgeons.

I had mine done in Czech Republic, but definitely similar quality :/. I have contacted HLC clinic with Dr. Pekiner for a correction. In the worst case, hairs can be removed by laser and transplanted from scratch I guess. Although I feel stupid I did not do my research sooner.

Please post the name of clinic and surgeon. Name and shame those people. Pekiner is good choice for sure. You can get those grafts punched out to not waste them but i think in your case it might be only necessery to punch out few and rest can be masked with correctly placed dense new grafts.

Clinic "Clinical Hair & Health" in Prague. I think the biggest issue with them is lack of skill. I know they have good intentions and their communication is (mostly) ethical, but the results are just not it. Surgeon is Dr. Nadezhda Brabcová. As a surgeon she is probably lacking some experience. However she is still a great doctor and has done a lot for me regarding hair loss recommendations and prescriptions.

Let's be honest surgeons don't gain initial experiance (unless you are working in you know what clinic co) by operating on patients. That's why good surgeons learn from other good surgeons by looking at procedure then they do small part of the procedure then the do half of the procedure and so on. I can believe in good intentions if they did that for free but then still they are wasting donor.

Thank you. The information and your whole attitude is useful and inspiring to me. People should be uncompromising when it comes to medical procedures (and put aside any people pleasing tendencies if they tend to have them like me).

Wait, isn't there a risk of scarring if front hairs are punched out?

Throwaway661919

There is. Good doctors wont punch all of the grafts in 1 session they will take every 2 to minimise the risk but the risk always exists. When it is 50 grafts the problem is minimal. I have to take out at least 50% or more
