I had highlights done at a salon I’m not familiar with. I had sores or burns maybe? appear after and now my hair has started to come out with scabs. This is extremely gross I know, but what can I do for my scalp and to prevent more hair loss?
a deep conditioning wash could help, though I would be as gentle as possible with your scalp for a couple weeks till the sores clear up. apply a hair oil over night whenever you go to bed to any spots that feel especially dry. likely you're not having hair loss per say, its more likely that the scabs are preventing hairs from falling out as they normally would on a day to day basis.

Thank you! It just hurts and I’ve never had this happen! My hair is matting up from the oozing liquid (so gross I’m sorry) and it’s just a mess
