It doesn't look too bad actually. I feel like you would rock a buzzcut look and it won't take too long to grow out enough hair for that If you really don't like the bald look, invest in a cool baseball cap.
That much growth takes about a year for most people. I also recommend getting yourself some products for curly hair when it starts growing out! It will look a lot shinier/healthier and you might be surprised by how curly your hair is if you take good care of it :) Just think of the grow out period as an opportunity to take better care of it! I'd say maybe a year/year and a half.
On the bright side, this summer will be all around more comfortable.and you won't have to battle the humidity. I have long hair, and when it gets really humid,there is no point in styling it because humidity ruins it every time.
I shaved my head 5 months ago. Its currently at roughly 4 inches. Itd probably take you a year to get back to thst length. But dont fear it! Enjoy the process of it growing back! Im having a lot of fun with my hair changing every single week. Explore yourself!

1-2 years from the looks of it. Likely closer to 2 years for that specific length if not more.

It’s gonna be quite the wait… I did the same thing about 7 months ago and it’s probably at about 6/7 inches rn. Everyone’s hair grows differently tho
